Please ignore the people lying. Dr Mak is the most compassionate person around, always answers my questions & even calls me back at home. Believe me, he tried steer me away from my neck & back procedures, as he is definitely not to make money. He has never once rushed me out of his office and he sticks around the OR and recovery room also. I actually just switched from a great hand surgeon due to his staff. I stay w/Dr Mak because not only is he the best pain management dr, staff is excellent.

Dr Mak does not care if you are in pain and does not listen. He makes suggestions and then screws you over.

Absolutely horrible office. Dr Mak is anything but compassionate. He does not care about his patients who are truly in pain. All he is concerned about it making money on procedures and surgeries. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mak's for going on two years now. He has been a great help in managing my pain. Dr. Mak listens to what I have to say about how I feel, when I'm in pain, and how bad my pain gets. After listening, he then talks with me about my options and what he feels would be the best way to help manage it until I had surgery for my spine. I would always receive a call back the same day from Dr. Mak if I needed more medication or had questions about it. His office was always polite.

Dr Mak was very professional. He spent an appropriate amount of time each visit explaining the recommended procedures and what he was trying to accomplish. I appreciate his work. The Freehold staff was also very good. Appointments were good, didn't wait a long time once I checked in and we're always pleasant about booking future appointments.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DR MAK TO ANYONE. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ON THE FIRST VISIT DENING I HAD FIBROMYALGIA UNLESS I WAS IN A WAR OR MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT. I WAS DIAGNOSED YEARS AGO. ALSO I WAS MADE TO WAIT OVER A MONTH FOR TREATMENT FOR SPINAL STENOSIS BECAUSE THE SURGICAL CENTER THEY USED WAS BOOKED SOLID WITH ALL THE PATIENTS THEY SENT THERE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE HIGH RATINGS HE HAS GOTTEN ON YOUR SITE. I FELT HE WAS RUNNING SOME KIND OF SCAM
