Dr. Machata is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and thorough. He has been treating my opioid addiction for quite some time as well as my mental health issues. He is ALWAYS available and ALWAYS returns calls/texts in a very timely manner. I highly recommend him for a PCP!

Was really nice then suddenly rude
I had missed only one appointment due to being stuck on the side of the road in my car. I texted him before the appointment and he said “thanks for letting me know” Months later he emails me saying that I missed multiple appointments (which is false) and that he had been contacting me. I could not find any emails and he definitely never called me. Nevertheless, he was emailing me saying to stop having my cancer doctors and surgeons send him information. Im only 21 and was kinda shocked. I thought we were on good terms and then suddenly he’s telling me to get lost and find a new doctor. Maybe he is confused because he had no reason to act that way, very arbitrary. So confusing, he was very nice in person when we met.

Super nice guy but terrible doctor. Despite my husband’s age and family history of prostate cancer, Dr Machata never ordered a simple PSA blood test. When he started having symptoms, the doctor still did not order this basic, standard, simple screening test but dismissed the symptoms (enlarged prostate, difficulty urinating) as “old guy stuff”. One day my husband started peeing blood and immediately went to a urologist. By that time the prostate cancer was advanced and had spread to the bone. Don’t go to Dr Machata.

It’s always a wonderful experience. He always figures out the problem or refers to specialist when necessary. Best decision I made was to make him my physician

Dr. Machata has been handling my opioid addiction for over 4 years. He is incredible. Always an e-mail away, always thorough, and very easy too schedule with. This week I have had trouble getting ahold of my GI doctor about my gallbladder attacks. I haven't eaten anything but ginger ale and crackers for 4 days. Dr. Machata got on the phone for me after a quick email and begged the other doctor to call me back. I would HIGHLY recommend him for addicts/anyone looking for truly attentive care.

Super bright man, good disposition. He explains everything clearly, which I like, and doesn't rush. Appointments are easy to make on website. Good communication, too, for quick questions, etc. No frills practice. Would recommend, and have, to friends and family.

Awful doctor. Should have his license removed!!! My husband has had diabetes for three years and was testing by him several times because we knew he had all the symptoms and he never told us nor treated him. He would never give us his results. After several attempts we decided to get second opinion we found out His sugar levels were over 500 needless to say we changed doctors. Stay away for this doctor!!
