Dr. John Leppard III, MD

I have seen Dr Leppard on several occasions regarding Independent Medical Evaluations for my workers comp case. This man should lose his license, he blatantly lies on his reports. He says he performs tests that he does not do and lies about the results on the few tests he does do. He should be ashamed of himself, he is nothing more than a hired hack for the insurance carrier to try and shoot down your case.

This man is not a very nice doctor I had to see him for a ime he lied on his paperwork that’s sworn under oath he didn’t listen he’s rude he spoke about my weight which has nothing to do with my wrist and I would NEVER refer anyone to him he’s a liar he’s not respectful and he’s aggressive all the things that a doctor shouldn’t be

Dr leppard is one of the best knee orthopedic been going to him for years and 2 years ago I moved to Florida and I came up to new york to see him. The best.

I have been consulting Dr. Leppard for over 20 years and he is always very Professional and was able to help me with my Joint pains with ease. Very Patient and helpful. I recommend his service for anyone who wanted to see a orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Was rude, condescending, disrespectful to me. Didn't let me talk. Kept cutting me off. I'm not a Dr but in medical field over 30 yrs, work with Dr's, PTs. I've treated many with same tendon tears I have. He said I got my knowledge from Dr. Google & friends. He said MRI I brought means nothing - they just read it get paid & are often wrong. He pushed meds & shot concoction. I don't take pain meds. He said med would make me better in 4 days. I have 3 tears. That's not healed in 4 days. I've been doing Physical Therapy for year. I know treatment I wanted to try, it worked before with different tear. He told me to go home, make it hurt & come tell him where. Yet I showed him exactly where. He started backing out of room, I tried to ask about other problem (i had xray with me), he said let's deal with one 1st & just take meds. He complained about insurer that i have, said he has to stop taking them. I told assistant don't bother with script, not taking- He said don't pick it up.

Dr. Leppard cut off a Pyogenic Granuloma from my hand. He was able to numb the area with minimal pain (which other doctors were unable to do) and cut it off. He was excellent, took time to explain everything to me . I would definitely see him again. He is a model doctor!

Dr Leppard repaired my bicep tendon after a ski accident via surgery. He was great from the beginning to the end. Explained to me what actually happened and how he was going to repair it. Took the time to show me visualization of the injury and repair as well before I had surgery. Surgery was done fantastically and I’m well on the way to recovery after such a haphazard injury (tore the tendon from my forearm bone.) Highly recommend

I was suffering from a severe case of lateral epicondylitis(tennis elbow). After undergoing months of intense PT, and a visit to another physician, I was referred to Dr. Leppard. The office was extremely efficient, and X-rays were swiftly performed. Dr. Leppard clearly explained my condition, and then proceeded to meticulously inject cortisone into my elbow, with such incredible skill and accuracy. Good bye pain! I highly recommend Dr. Leppard!

He treated me for a broken wrist which needed surgery. He did a great job and his office staff are very nice. I never had to wait long for my appointments.

Dr. Leppard is great. I had a wrist problem and he put me at ease. Explained everything that the X rays showed and in one week I was back to normal. I had gone to one Intensive care clinic and they gave me a false diagnosis. It took Dr. Leppard to heal me. He's very nice and easy to talk too.

I would highly recommend Dr.Leppard. He was trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. He performed surgery on my hand and it went well. He made me feel very comfortable before my surgery and was available with any questions I had.

Dr Leppard in the past year has repaired a fractured wrist and fractured forearm. I find him to be professional and personable. He goes out of his way to explain everything possible for the best outcome. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for appointments, he always greet with a smile. I think his staff is great, just like him! Thank you for taking great care of me!

Dr Leppard has been a life saver. I have had knee, hip, and finger issues. He has explained things, and treated my issues successfully. He is gentle, kind and understanding. I am very happy that he is my orthodontist.

I have been using Dr. Leppard for years. He is an excellent diagnostician and has a great bedside manner. I just had him remove a tumor from my forearm. He explained this outpatient procedure in his office and then in the hospital. He called my wife and told her that everything went well and when I awakened, he discussed it with me also. The healing process was with minimal pain.

The office is clean, efficient, well staffed and polite. Dr. Leopard is attentive yet conservative in his approach, using appropriate protocols as each case is evaluated. I would recommend the doctors in the practice for ortho needs without hesitation.

Dr. Leppard is patient and put me at ease. Though the office is busy, it wasn't reflected in the time he spent with me.

I saw Dr. Leppard for a broken wrist. He's a very good diagnostician; however, he is perpetually late. I've waited over 2 hours for him before rescheduling. I've tried making the first appointment of the day with him, only to find that he hadn't left his home yet when I arrived for my appointment. His lack of respect for patient's time is appalling. Also, depending upon his mood, he can be a bit rough when handling. My time is worth a lot to me, and his antics caused me to find another dr at a different practice.

I have had enough visits with Dr. Leppard to almost consider him family, and have had more hand surgeries than I can recall ... all superbly successful. His mastery of the mechanics of hand repair is impressive. I hope this man never retires.
