Very skillful surgeon. Friendly staff.
I had both knee replacement and shoulder surgery withDr. Larkin. He is very friendly, explains in detail and very positive. He doesn’t rush you and helpful. I have been very happy with his surgeries. I also feel Sarah Biles is a true asset to the practice. She is very helpful, reassuring and empathetic. I can talk with her and get answers. Appoints are easily scheduled. No long waits in the office. All staff are friendly and supportive.

Bad Experience
I was asked to come 15 minutes early and then waited 45 minutes from my scheduled time to be taken back to the examining room, where I waited for another 20 minutes for the doctor. I was then taken for an X-ray and waited 15 minutes for the doctor to return. I was barely examined for the diagnosis I already have. The doctors objective seemed to be to come up with a myriad of other conditions that might be possible. Felt like the doctor was shooting fish in a barrel. I appreciate looking outside the box. But at least give more time looking inside the box. At least look at the MRI confirming my condition that I was asked to bring. Really frustrating appointment.

I’m glad I was recommended by a friend.
I’m one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and I won’t take blood. I explained this to Dr. Larkin. He was so loving and kind re: my stand; and stand I did after He operated on me. I had a bent knee from childhood plus my knee had so much pain. I walked 1500 ft. My day of surgery at St. Elizabeth hospital. Ps. I lost less than 50cc of blood during surgery. He took every precaution, therefore when surgery was suggested on my other knee; I said, I’m going to Dr. Larkin. It was Almost a 4 hr. Drive but He is worth it. He saw me today and showed me that I don’t need surgery and explained what my problem is. I just Love Him. He could have said surgery but no, He told me the Truth. That’s the Kind of Doctor I want.

This is my second time having Dr.Larkin as a physician. Even though it was 3 years ago, he recalled my former condition and was able to pinpoint the problem. He’s an excellent physician.

Dr Larkin is a quack. He kept telling me he went to school in new haven which is where Yale is located. He did his internship there he was not a student. I was sent for an IME through workers comp not by my choice. He was not concerned about talking about his fake education then proceeded to do a 30 second exam and then looked at X-rays and said I think you need an MRI of your back. I was there for my hip and I have never had back pain before. This is why he has been fired from so many practices

I had shoulder surgery I August 2016. Still in pain. After repeated visits with shots and steroids nothing helped. So disappointed with this office. They worried more about getting my 40.00 co pay. Never going back

Still in pain in Ky – Apr 05, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Larkin?
Paid out of my own pocket $1500 for an IME. Thought this doctor was listening to my health concerns and performing correct evaluation on my lower back and numbness in my left leg. When I received the report from him, found many discrepancies in his report beside the wrong leg. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
