Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dr. Lah for a number of reasons. I saw him over the last few years for gastro issues. On my first visit he dismissed my pain as "stomach butterflies" I felt very condescended and not listened to or comfortable. After saying nothing was wrong I ended up with an emergency surgery and needed to go back to a GI. United MD would not let me see any other dr's in the practice because I was established with Dr. Lah. Fast forward to scheduled scopes I needed to have that cost MORE THAN DOUBLE even with insurance than the average provider and facilities in the area. I was nickeled and dimed for everything with no regard for my actual health and well-being. FRAUDULENT BILLING- I never received test results from the scopes and called the office to receive the results and was told I needed to set up a telehealth. The telehealth instructions never came so the Dr. called my personal phone, call lasted less than 2 mins and I was billed for an in-office visit with face time with the DR for more than 20 mins. I called to get the bill reviewed and they would not review the bill.

Dismissive doctor and money grab practice.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dr. Lah for several reasons. I saw him over the last few years for gastro issues and scopes. He was dismissive of my pain labeling it as 'butterflies' and then proceeded to practice incorrect billing. For a 2-minute phone call to share test results that I had to set up a call to get, I was charged for an in-office visit with a modifier of 20 min or more Facetime with the DR. The billing department would not correct it. His scopes cost MORE THAN DOUBLE local providers even with insurance. He does not care about his patients and the entire practice is a money grab. Go somewhere where a doctor will care about your health more than coding your visits to get more money.

The office is worthless!
Keep in mind. When having a colonoscopy, you will interact more with the office than you will with the doctor. You will meet the doctor in the operating room, then you are put to sleep. When the office wrongly starts billing you because "they" haven't billed your primary or secondary insurance, the headache begins. 1. No one answers the phone (for days)! If you ever managed to get through, they'll put you on hold. Many of us have been through this. This is done, hoping you'll hang up. Then they will ask you the same questions over and over again. Again, hoping you'll just pay the amount and go away. They will provide you with no documentation to provide your insurance. They will provide you with no confirmation of any kind so when this happens again. It's up to the doctor to get the office customer oriented, but that obviously hasn't taken place. Just find an office that tries to work with you, instead of against you.

Dr. Lah did not demonstrate much compassion or empathy toward my loved one. The experience felt rushed and critical, delicate information was delivered abrasively. Unacceptable and would not recommend.
