Ruled and unprofessional Doctor
My son saw Doctor John Krouse on July 1st 2024. Doctor Krouse was being very ruled and unprofessional. He kept yelling to me “you are not listening” when I asked clarification questions. His unprofessional behavior put extra stress on his parents. We would never want to see him again.

Continued Neglect from Cardiologist Dr. John Krous
I am deeply disheartened by my experiences with cardiologist Dr. John Krouse. Despite my complex heart history, including a heart stent, Dr. Krouse consistently overlooks these critical factors, with examinations that hardly surpass a fleeting chest touch. His persistently condescending attitude has further eroded my trust in his capabilities. Even more distressing is his repeated failure to address my queries, leaving me with unresolved concerns that heighten my anxiety after each visit. The absence of clear communication exacerbates the lack of thorough examination, contributing to a consistently negative experience. I believe a medical practitioner's role is not just to provide physical care, but also to offer clarity and reassurances - areas where Dr. Krouse persistently falls short. I voice these concerns hoping Dr. Krouse will make the necessary changes, for every patient deserves expertise, empathy, and clear communication.

He did not ask me any questions about my lifestyle exercise, eating habits.... nothing. I had very high blood pressure. My ordinary care doctor had put me on a new bop medication and I wanted to have a cardiologist review my meds and get a cardiac work up. He listened to my heart, ran an ekg and said my meds were working. That’s it. No interest in me, my life, previous work ups, stress tests, preventative care.... nothing. I need a doctor that treats the whole patient, not just the symptoms or emergency procedures.

An extremely bad experience. I had open heart surgery at Stanford Hospital 5 weeks earlier. All the Dr. asked was why I went all the way down to Stanford for the procedures. He did not even look at incision...he asked me to breath in and out three times. That was the extent of the exam. I asked about re filling my heart medications, and he basically told me to get in touch with Stanford Hospital for refills. In my opinion, very unprofessional.
