The very best surgeon
Words can't describe the professionalism and wonderful relation with patients presented by Dr. John Kiluk from Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Knowing his exceptionally good reputation I traveled one way almost 2 hours to Tampa and it was worth it !! In July 2023 he performed two complicated breast cancer surgeries monitoring the same time my other serious health issues which was above and beyond a surgeon normal responsibilities. Dr. Kulik was always accessible to answer all my questions, even asked after business hours. His office personnel is very professional, always addressing patient needs with warm and compassionate attitude. In summary THE VERY BEST SURGEON AND THE VERY BEST OFFICE. I am strongly recommending Dr. Kiluk to Florida residents looking for surgeon specializing in breast cancer.Patient from Sarasota FL

My wife was referred to Dr Kiluk after the devastating news that she had breast cancer and we are extremely thankful he was able to walk us through the process not only as a great surgeon but as a great, caring human being that took the time to help us deal with our adversity providing us with encouragement and actually successfully convincing my wife that it was not the end for her and he would be there alongside of us in this fight for her life and we’re forever thankful.

I decided to go to Moffitt in 2011 when diagnosed at 34 with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The scheduler told my husband that we would love Dr. Kiluk and she was so very correct. The moment he met me, he walked into the room, walked straight past my family that came to support me and hugged me. He spent as much time as I needed to explain everything. He is truly compassionate in a way that you don't see in any profession. Even before one of my surgeries that he was performing, as I was in the operating room, on the table with the anesthesiologist about to administer the medicine, Dr. Kiluk came in the room and held my hand and brushed my cheek with his other hand as I drifted off and he told me not to worry. He is THE BEST and even though I no longer live in the area, I would try my hardest to get back to Tampa if I ever had a recurrence.

From the moment I met Dr. Kiluk, I was impressed with his sincere concern, his knowledge and his overall kind and gentle honesty. Before my surgery he was there in the room reassuring me, after the surgery he was there several times throughout the day to answer questions and, again, reassuring me and my family. Dr. Kiluk is the BEST! ~ Betty B.

Dr. John Kiluk was my surgeon after being diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. He hugged me, made me feel at ease and answered every single one of my questions without making me feel like I was putting him out. When I had a complication after surgery, this man actually came in to check on me in the middle of the night! I was out of it, but just knowing he was there and on top of things, gave me total peace. I put my life in his hands, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. He is by far the best doctor I've ever had. Wish I could go see him for everything else! :)

Dr. Kiluk, his nurse Jayne and his entire team are the most compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and advocating medical professionals I have ever encountered. They truly put themselves in the patients shoes and understand the level of anxiety and fear that everyone has. Dr. Kiluk in conjunction with Moffitt did a full review of my images and biopsies to provide a recommendation at a time when I did not know what my next steps should be. I recommend and trust them 100% w/out hesitation.

Being diagnosed with breast cancer is a terrifying experience. Being referred to Dr. John Kiluk is the best thing that ever could have happened to me when I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer by another provider. Not only did he fill me with a sense of calm when he first entered the exam room, he told me that no matter what we were going to beat this disease. Even after he further examined me and it turned out I had Stage 3 breast cancer, I had no fears about my recovery being complete.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time I decided to go to the Moffitt Cancer Center. When I made my first appointment I told the scheduler I wanted a doctor that was compassionate and caring....she said "Dr. Kiluk will be perfect for you" I loved him from the moment he walked into the room. He hugged me and preceeded to ask me about myself, who I was and what I did for fun. He preceeded to explain every step of the process....he told me "I got this" and he did! God bless him

I have referred several friends to him. He listens to patients, works WITH you on treatments, offers every possible treatment to help you make a decision, gives you as much time you need to answer questions and explain solutions and is such a caring man. That is rare these days. I see my family doctor and she never looks past her laptop the entire time I spend with her.
