Very patient and thorough at the appointments
Dr. Kao is very professional and caring. The appointments I have had with him have been positive. He takes time to explain things and was very understanding about my concerns. I have seen him various times and he has always been thorough and wanting to help. I highly recommend him as a primary care doctor.

I had a phone appt with Dr. Kao which is not my doctor because my doctor was booked so he was the only doctor available to talk to, so as I explained to Dr. Kao that I had underlining health issues and was asking him to assist me with filling out some paperwork for my job, he under minded my health issues he belittled me and made look like I was a hypochondriac mind you I beat breast cancer 2 years ago and I have A fib and asthma and he did not care about any of that and he made it seem like I was taking too much of his time and that I was asking him to give me a million dollars... Dr. Kao is very unprofessional and does not know how to speak to patients, he also doesn't know medicine because he was saying some things in regards to COVID that were very incorrect and he also made some smart remarks about COVID... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!!! Not even my worst enemy...

My husband had a recent phone appt. with Dr. Kao. He listened carefully to my husband’s problems of chronic constipation and a possible enlarged prostate and prescribed a medicine for the prostate problem and explained to us how to titrate the medicine. He was patient and spent at least 20 minutes with us and explaining how he would solve the constipation problem. I was satisfied with his explanations and the time spent with my husband.
