Dr. John Jurta, DPM

After the rudest phone call I ever had I would NEVER refer this office to anyone. Any time Dr Jurta came to my appointment he was kind and caring, easy to talk to. While looking into an issue about a claim not going through to my insurance I called the insurance office who called Dr Jurta’s office only to find out that the wrong insurance was on file. The way the secretary belittled me and made it clear that she didn’t care that she was being disrespectful, I would hate to see how she would talk to a patient who truly didn’t understand what was happening involving an issue. She claims she confirmed that I had the other insurance multiple times, but that is not the case. She only asked if my insurance changed, I thought I had given them the new insurance so my answer was always no. I had no idea they had the old insurance on file. The fact that she opened the conversation with “I told you to look into it. This is your fault and now how are you going to pay” is poor customer service.
