Dr Josephson was very knowable and patient with me. He explained all the options and answered all the questions that I had. The assistant (eye tech) Malcom was very professional and kind to me because I was quite nervous about cataract surgery. He made me feel comfortable and shared his experience with me. Wonderful young man.

I spent thousands to end up with further blurriness and eye discomfort. Went to 4 appointments and the post op visits he just said that it will get better, which it didn't.

Dr. Josephson was very professional and listened and answered all my questions. He explained everything in detail and his staff was very friendly and courteous.

No one returns email questions to schedule surgery. Meds and lenses.

I just had cataract surgery with what I think is the best surgeon in Northern VA. Dr Jon Josephson is amazing, highly dedicated and professional. He personally called me in the evening of the surgery to check and make sure I am not having any issues. Also to confirm my next day appointment which happened to be the 4th of July. I was surprised of his willingness to work on a holiday but his response was 'i love my patients'. He has a friendly team, professional and caring which demonstrate an effort from the administrative leadership to creat a specific culture focused on the well-being of the patients. My husband and I were very impressed

I had both my cataracts in both eyes removed by Dr. Josephson. One in July and the other in August of 2023. He is competent and I highly recommend him to anyone needing this surgery. I am pleased with my recovery and the results, and glad I had it done. I was very apprehensive about how the recovery would be and the pain etc. Everything turned out great with minimal pain. Due to Fuchs’ endothelial dystrophy disease, Dr. John Josephson performed bilateral corneal transplants (DMEK Procedure). His expertise resulted in a phenomenal outcome on both eyes. I am thrilled with the end results and very grateful to him! I highly recommend Dr. Josephson and his staff for any and all eye care needs!

Efficient, accommodating, helpful staff, and Dr Josephson is a miracle worker:) 20/20 vision for the first time in 40 years! And I think the only surgeon I've ever had call me at home to check up on how I was feeling after a procedure.

Respectful, thorough, professional from first interaction at reception all the way through to surgery and post care. I am very pleased with both Dr Josephson and his staff in the Fairfax office and the Bethesda surgery center.

My last visit Dr. Josephson dropped me as a patient and said I would have to see someone else when I informed him that I was having someone else do my eye surgery. He showed no concern for me as a patient and barely covered the exam results with me.

His use of technology to enhance my vision is excellent and his assessment of a previous similar surgery offers hope for some correction not achieved the first time.
