Dr. John Holman, MD

I've been increasingly sick and non-functional for two years. Other doctors have ordered only very basic tests, and been dismissive of my symptoms when those tests were not far outside the normal range. At this first visit with Dr. Holman, I felt he listened carefully, took me seriously, asked appropriate questions, did a through consultation, and he ordered more in-depth testing. I felt reassured that he would do what's necessary to help me reach a diagnosis and treatment plan, so I can get my life back!

Last visit was exellent!

It was awesome! Best Doctor I've ever met.

We had been patients of Dr Holman for several years. My husband saw the doctor, & had yearly blood work March of 2018. Then a wellness physical in Nov. of 2018. No labs were ordered at this time. So, he made an appt. March of 2019 to see Dr. Holman, to get his cholesterol checked and have his yearly labs done. He was told that he could not see the doctor or get a lab order because he was supposed to do them after his wellness physical! He told the medical assistant that none were ordered in November. After talking to Dr. Holman, the medical assistant told my husband he would have to wait until November 2019 to get a lab order. That would be 20 months for his cholesterol, liver function, etc to be checked! This is and was absolutely unacceptable. At this point, I felt we were not receiving the proper monitoring or follow-up care required for the medications we were on. We have since changed to an APN out of CVMC, and the care and follow-up we are receiving is excellent.

Dr. Holman is awesome. I’ve been seeing him for over 3 years. He’s very professional, patient and knowledgeable. However, the office (his staff) constantly make mistakes. Especially with prescriptions. This has been very frustrating for me. As a doctor, I would highly recommend Dr. Holman. I don’t know what’s going on with his office?

Dr. Holman is excellent! Both my husband and I see him and are very pleased with his thoroughness and follow-up. We highly recommend Dr. Holman.

PROBLEM is getting to see the Doctor. Dr. Holman is an excellent physician, but I am hugely disappointed in not being able to see him. Called to set an appointment to see the Doctor about what may be the flu and was told the first possible appointment is ten days out and that I should go to Urgent Care. What's the point of having a Dr. if his receptionist refers you to Urgent Care? Not to mention, Urgent Care is likely to cost twice as much. All this ain't what it used to be.
