Neck issues
I been dealing with neck issues for over 10 years I tried to get my restrictions updated and the staff was rude and didn’t want to help out their patient. Very unprofessional staff that thinks they are the dr. I definitely will be switching doctors and do NOT recommend anyone use this office. Other than that the dr was always good to me but his staff has been very rude and unprofessional the last few times I dealt with them.

I've had thought for surgeries with Dr. Harpring 3+years ago he me messed up I've asked him repeatedly to fix his mistake he's refused this last time I asked to & he fixed the wrong thing what's been caused me so much pain and difficulty his just spread and cause me more pain I would not recommend him to anybody he seems to be doing more damage than good to anybody I think he's more out for money. He keeps telling me come back we'll do more surgery if it wasn't for the hundreds plus thousand dollars that he gets for every surgery that does on me. I think that's the only reason why he wants me keeps coming back see, I am so tired of telling his doctor to help me and begging him to help me and he keeps blowing me off not even see me when he discharged me & with no meds no care, no shame. No follow-up care if it wasn't for me to know what to do or where to go I swear to God this doctor reaches he needs to retire he's made enough money & DESTROYED MY LIFE FOR GOOD

I have the utmost confidence in Dr Harpring’s expertise. However, sitting in the waiting room for an hour and then sitting in the exam room for another hour; the Dr only spends 3 minutes with you. The experience is a nightmare!

I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Harpring, both recently and 17 years ago when he did my neck fusion. My neck fusion went off well and I've not had problems with it since. Now I'm having low back issues. It did take awhile to get into see him initially, but since things have moved pretty quickly. I am currently waiting to see when my surgery will be scheduled. It will be a few month out as it need to be co-ordinated with another doctor.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Harpring than any other doctor I have ever seen. My personal experience would take-up to much space to write. So I'll just say the imperative things. I never saw him after he operated on my neck. I ended up with a infection from the first surgery which after many visits they needed to do emergency surgery. I was in the hospital for 5 days and had a pic line inserted and home health care for 6 weeks. The worst part was no sympathy no explanation nothing.

Unprofessional staff. Unprofessional doctor. Took 5 weeks to get first appt. sat in office for 3 hours past appt time. Nurse lied to my face about delay. Doc finally came in for 5 minutes, said he wanted some more test done so scheduled test and wanted me to come back in another 5 weeks. Today they called and canceled but could only reschedule 2 weeks later or else wait another month past the appt he canceled. Pathetic experience getting NO results Would NEVER recommend

First appt. with Dr harpring was suppose to be for my head scan, he came in breezed his finger over my head said everything looked fine and walked out. ( my problem is on the inside of my head). Made another "headscan" appt to find out I was waiting 2 hours for him to come in and tell me they would call me in about two weeks for my scheduled scan. Never called me. Lied to my face twice and does not keep his word. DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS CARELESS SOUL. Save your money. Staff was understanding.

Staff=cold, uncaring, incompetent. Focused solely on insurance information. Doctor=actually spent very little time with me, but assessed me as a patient in need of care, and ordered further more invasive testing. The scheduling of that testing was difficult because he took forever to dictate and transfer my records to the next group. His staff also did not do the proper insurance paperwork. At the follow up he contradicted himself and stated nothing was wrong and nothing he could do. Surreal.

What does our family think of Dr. Harpring? Over the years, he has saved the lives of two of our relatives (my bother-in-law in Jan. 2016). Degenerative Back Disease runs in our family. Dr. Harpring was the lead doctor on numerous surgeries on our family (3 surgeries on my back alone). We wouldn?t think of using anyone else.

I would not recommend to anyone. Unprofessional staff who appear to be incompetent and uncaring. Phone calls are not returned and surgery dates are scheduled too far out, leaving you to endure pain for a longer period.
