I would like to express my thoughts regarding Dr. J. Hamill, he is my dermatologist and I find him thorough in regarding my problem with the itching of my skin and problem with my feet. He prescribed a medicine that is helping me. He is very pleasant, and knowledgeable and gives advice in detail on what I need to do. He doesn't rush me out of the office. He answers my questions. I recommend him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist.

My career was in the medical field so I am very aware of the level of professionalism an thoroughness that a provider should be giving to his patients. I highly recommend Dr Hamill and his staff!

I ended up having five visits for one Mohs surgery! First, biopsy. Then, cosult with the Dr. Then surgery. Next day closing. Then a few days later, suture removal. I've had numerous mohs surgeries and all others were done with just a biopsy, then surgery and closing in one more visit. I suspect the number of visits has something to do with maximizing insurance payments. I know I had a $40 co-pay on three of my five visits!! Also, during my closing visit, I was bleeding profusely and the staff could not find the Dr. to close the wound for a half hour. There was blood everywhere!!

We have had 8 appointments in the past 3 months for, - (skin cancer treatments/surgery) - with great results. "Cancer Free"! It's not often that you find a Doctor that is so conscientious, thorough and informed. Dr. Hamill and his staff will definitely get our recommendation!

I have had a relationship with Dr. Hamill for over 10 years. I have a history of precancerous moles of various types and have had several removed including a MOHS procedure performed by Dr. Hamill. Luckily, all were benign. I visit for a screening every six months and typically see his nurse practitioner, Andrea Falcon. If she sees anything suspect, the doctor is involved. I trust them both to provide good dermatology care.

Do not see this doctor. He doesn’t listen to his patients, he’s too busy talking. He tried to prescribe me something I was allergic to without even checking before I left. Didn’t look over my patient information before or during visit, missed vital info. He is not thorough and after waiting for over 2 hours to see him, I maybe spoke with him for 6 mins, enough time to tell me that there’s something off about this man. Found other reviews about him specifically that I wish I saw before my visit.

Dr Hamill spent approx 2 min listening to my mother who suffers from extreme eczema. He took two deep biopsies from her skin which left deep holes that became infected, not sure if cleaned the "hole punch" prior to gouging the holes. He gave her some cream and told her she can't use it forever because it would weaken her skin. She is now afraid of him. Very sad experience.

I am a Retired Senior with experience in the Medical Field. I served Our Country for 6 years as a Medical Specialist. I am now a retired Bio-Med Tech and worked 17 years in a local Hospital.. I feel that Dr. Hamill is an outstanding Doctor in his field of work. He has done several Surgeries on me. One surgery required the removal of a growth on the right side of my Nose. I could not believe how well it turned out.. I am very fussy about removing skin .. Dr. Hamill makes it look easy..

Dr. Hamill did the Mohs procedure on my hand to remove a 1" cancerous tumor in March of 2016. He did an excellent job closing up the incision. It is almost impossible to see my scar. In March of 2017 Dr. Hamill removed a cancerous tumor from my husband's face. Again he did an excellent job. It's only about 2 1/2 months since the surgery and you can hardly see the scar. He also had a friendly attitude and we didn't feel rushed when he saw us. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Every year I had gone to a dermatologist to get checked for skin cancer. Every time a doctor looked over me and said I was fine. But then.. Dr. Hamill did it one year. He took a large number of biopsies. I asked him how much these cost and he said "only $10". All the biopsies came back negative as I knew they would because those spots were determined to be fine by many other doctors before Hamill. Next thing I know I get a bill in the mail for $900.00! I feel tricked and swindled.
