Big Mistake
I obviously spoke too quickly when I highly praised and commended Dr. Gillespie on the scar revision surgery he had performed on my upper lip. I am in constant horrific pain since the procedure and can't speak too well or even eat without excruciating pain that I never had to this extent before the surgery. I thought I had pain and discomfort before the surgery but it has increased to the point where it is excruciating and Never ends. I obviously made a big mistake in deciding to have Dr. Gillespie perform the surgery and will now have to live with the wrong decision I made for the rest of my life.

Dr. Gillespie performed my reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy and I cannot speak highly enough of him. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32, Dr. Gillespie truly made my journey and recovery so much easier! He has incredible bedside manner and is such a down-to earth, genuine physician that listens and gives his patients his time and attention. He is always quick to respond no matter what time it is and he is a very gifted surgeon!! I always felt like he genuinely cared and had my best interest in mind and I am so happy with the results of my reconstruction! I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie, especially for breast cancer patients looking to get reconstruction!

Dr. Gillespie is the best. He listens carefully to his patients and covers options in detail. His work is so good because he is very artistic and that is very much a plus in a Plastic Surgeon. I would not go to anyone else.

biography

After 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, and another 5 years of general surgery training and becoming a board certified general surgeon, I returned to specialize in plastic and reconstructive surgery over the next 3 years. I am a Delaware native and wanted to return to the area to give back to my community.
