Dr. John Dusseau, MD

Dr Dusseau is amazing. Dr D listens, helps you in ensure we have made the decision we understand, buy into and the options we have “yes” option. Looking at each and finding the best one for you. He keeps in touch with you and always follows up. I have never found no mater who I get recognitions from his patients or colleagues and the nurses they all say how outstanding he is and how he helps his colleagues have so many wonderful things to say. They even tell stories how he assisted them through their positions. He assisted me 2 times and surgery on me once, but my husband 3 different times. So I have some really working with Dr Dusseau.

Such a kind and patient man. No pretense or lack of caring at all. He took a lot of time to listen to me and then explained things so clearly. Asking if I had questions along the way. I was amazed at how quickly he assessed my situation. He really knows his stuff! With my intense neck pain, my quality of life has been rough for almost a year. I tried pain management first and that doctor shouldn't be allowed to practice. I had almost given up hope of being pain free. Someone suggested that I see this doctor and I am so thankful that I listened. I highly recommend this doctor. The staff are also very nice!

Dr. Dusseau is an excellent Neurosurgeon. He and his team are very professional and deeply care for their patients. From the first consultation, once he had reviewed my MRI, he explained everything in detail and said: Yes, I will help you. From that moment on I regained the confidence and hope I had already lost .The surgery was a complete success. I think of him each day when I am able to take walks and have started to enjoy mobility and ultimately..... Life Again. Thank you Dr Dusseau for being a wonderful human being and a magnificent surgeon.

He is known as the MIRACLE WORKER. After knowing this man for 40 years I required bank surgery, went to him had the surgery and never had any pain and very little medicine. Didn't need it. If you or a loved one needs care on your spine and back he is the the MAN. He really is a miracle worker.

I saw Dr. Dusseau for the first time today. He was on time. He was very personable. He spent time explaining my condition and answering all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend him as a reurosurgeon.

Dr. Dusseau was very approachable and put me at ease during the visit. Took the time to explain everything, even bringing up my MRI and explaining the condition. Gave treatment recommendations that were appropriate. Took the time to listen and I never felt rushed.

The man saved my life. He's an amazing surgeon and talks to me like a normal human being. Some (many) doctors act like it's Hell to talk to the patient, but not Dr Dessaue. Don't get me wrong, he explains things and is professional, but at the same time he's approachable. Dr Dessaue has an amazing staff. I would recommend Dr Dessaue to everyone!

I'm a patient of Dr. DUSSEAU,I have had 3 surgery with him and I think he is great ,HE listens to your problem and explain thing to you and takes his time with you ,I think he is a sweet heart and the staff is so helpfull and polit.Also his assistant Jackie,I love her,she is great ,they treat you like family

I was referred to Dr. Dusseau with a herniated disk impeding the nerve root. He worked directly with my insurance company in getting approval and performed the surgery 6 days after my initial visit. 2 weeks later I was celebrating a friends birthday in St. Thomas relatively pain free. 4 years later I am having the same issue in a different location and will once again be seeking his assistance. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dusseau is excellent. Had procedure in late March 2018 and everything went well. Dr. Dusseau does what he says and provides his expertise to solve your problem. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend his evaluation and recommendation and work.
