Dr. Depasse made my back like new again after years of pain thru surgery. I just wish I had gone to him years before. I would recommend him to anyone with severe back pain.

Dr Depasse was amazing doctor. I am a 32 year old woman that had an injury resulting in the need for a C5-C6 ACDF. I was well informed and the way that Dr Depasse preformed my surgery you would almost never know it even happened. I am 10 weeks post opp and I have healed amazing. He took the time to explain everything in depth and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing spine surgery or consult!

Was very reluctant to have any kind of back surgery but it had come to a point where injections were no longer helping. I was referred to the Oregon Spine Clinic and set up an appointment with Dr John Depasse. He assured me that he would be able to help me and followed through with surgery for stenosis in September. Best thing I could have done. Totally free of pain and looking forward to getting back to normal life. Excellent work by Dr Depasse and his whole team at Meridian Park. I was treated excellent and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had spinal surgery two weeks ago. The incision is healing nicely and ....frankly, Dr Depasse gave me back the quality of life I had before the spinal issue manifested itself. I owe him loads of gratitude.

Dr. Depasse is a doctor for the right reason . To help people. Another surgeon refused to operate on me, he actually told me that he thought I would not survive surgery. Anyway Dr Depasse reviewed my case and said that he could help me. My surgery was two months ago and I am without pain and walking without cane or walker. He has given me my normal life back and is now one of my favorite people on the planet. I highly recommend this surgeon to anyone in need.

I was in sepsis and close to kidney failure from a total knee surgery in June 2020. Dr. Depasse listened to my husband who was advocating for me. I had metal in my back and I was taking methotrexate which made the infection go everywhere the metal was. Dr. Depasse ordered another MRI before my surgery which showed a massive infection in the back . His efficiency and expertise helped save my life. Later when the infection was gone he also did another difficult spine surgery from which I had great results. I can walk without pain . I feel very blessed to have had such a wonderful doctor who also has a great bedside manner . He is easy to talk to and takes time with his patients and explains everything clearly. Dr. John DePasse, Oregon Spine Center, Tualatin, Oregon, is most certainly the surgeon you want to entrust your spinal surgery with -- Dr. DePasse is superb! With good fortune I was referred to Dr. DePasse to identify, and ultimately correct with surgery my diagnosed lumbar spinal stenosis; coupled with a lumbar ectomy. This four hour procedure on my 73-year-old spine went miraculously well and I am now pain free. Dr. DePasse is a gifted young surgeon who has a great deal of empathy, patience and exudes confidence. If you find yourself in need of a spine surgeon Dr. DePasse is a proven success. You will be very pleased with his results. I would be remiss if I didn't mention also his compassionate team members who graciously welcomed me into my surgery performed at Meridian Park Hospital, located right across the street from Dr. DePasse, and his office at the Oregon Spine Care complex. If there were a Super Bowl for surgeons and their team members, Dr. DePasse would win for sure!

After a failed lumbar spine surgery by a Kaiser Permanente doctor , I was ad- vised to see Dr. PePasse. Dr. DePasse completely rebuilt my lower back (t-12 to pelvis) in a complicated 9hr. surgery, he also stayed at my bedside during the long recovery period. I can now walk without a walker and no longer am I limited to the 10# lifting limit that the Kaiser surgeon said I would have live with, along with the constant pain in both legs. My wife and I now have hope for normal life. We will be forever grateful to Dr. DePasse.

Five stars are not enough. Dr DePasse is very compassionate, through and very professional. I was able to put my faith and trust in him before my 8.5 hour surgery. He has an awesome bed side manner and to the point. He explained every detail of my surgery. I would and have recommend him. You do not wait in his office. His staff is awesome and expedites you quickly fior appointments. Great team you have Dr. Thank you for making me new again Dr DePasse. I’m 100% better.

Dr. DePasse is a miracle worker! My husband had a complicated case with flattened nerves, sever stenosis, crushed disc and shifted spine. He couldn't walk down the street or sleep more than 15 minutes at a time because of pain. He walked bent over and leaning to the left. Immediately after a 7 hour surgery with Dr DePasse, my husband felt better. After 4 hours he was able to stand STRAIGHT and walk the unit the next day. He is two weeks out and is sleeping through the night and his pain is relieved. Dr. DePasse is a great listener, very intelligent, compassionate and an extremely skilled surgeon. We are so grateful for him and highly recommend him.

Don't hesitate to become Dr. Depasse's patient. He is wonderful and very willing to try everything possible making a horrible situation promising. He is warm and honest.
