Horrid experience My husband was a patient of Dr. John Conrey while on dialysis. It was impossible to contact Dr. Conrey directly. Dialysis patients are required to go through several nurses, leave messages and wait days for a response from a nurse. Dr. Conrey was never an able to return a call. We were always rushed during office visits, questions were ridiculed.Dr Conrey refused to acknowledge any information my husband questioned regarding medications for back pain. Dr Conrey’s professional opinion was no dialysis patients had ever experienced back pain, except for my husband. I hope any patient dealing with kidney issues runs as fast as possible far away from this practice and is able to locate professional medical help.

Physician
As a fellow physician, I had taken my wife to Dr. Conrey, for her nephrology care. Dr. Conrey, is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable in all aspects of nephrology. I felt completely comfortable with his expertise and the cure delivered to my wife. I would recommend him without reservation. I want the best care for my family, and that’s why I had seen Dr. Conrey.

Not so good; I tried to have an appointment but scheduler refused to do it because I should have a referral from another Dr and kidney test results from last 3 months. I insisted that my insurance does not require referrals but still it was declined to schedule Isn’t this a sort of “cartel”?
