This dentist is a complete swindler and just horrible individual in general. Complete liar and lack of professionalism. Went in to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I followed all his medical advice to the T and am left with severe pain in my jaw well after a week of healing and now my teeth no longer align when I close my mouth. Avoid this office and terrible dentist.

Like his staff, DISRESPECTFUL, ARROGANT, MISERABLE. Absolutely NO bedside manner, charged EXTRA for a simple extraction, and told my Dentist, " there was NO COMPLICATIONS". My advice - AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE AT ALL COSTS! !!!!! I was DEGRADED and treated with UTTER CONDESCENSION from the moment I walked in the door, to the time I left, post surgery. Of course you're ORDEREDTO pay IN FULL, and IN ADVANCE, and this AFTER they require in writing, your ENTIRE PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!

I am not a fan of Dr. Colgan.. Such ego and much lack of patience when a patient is in distress!

In reading the previous review is true that this office requires a deposit to schedule surgery appointments. However, I have had many procedures performed by Dr. Colgan, one of which I requested my deposit because I was cancelling the procedure I was scheduled for because my wife became ill and I couldn't at the time. I got my deposit back no questions asked. I can't see how the previous review can be true. My experience at this office is commendable.

This office demands that all future procedures receive a deposit before the work is done. We allowed $6000 to be put on our credit card. Our doctor stated the procedure was cosmetic and risky with an individual with high blood pressure. . We changed our minds and received $600 back. The doctor stated that he could only refund that small amount because he invested time in his plans for The canceled operation. VERY dissatisfied

I would recommend Dr. Colgan to anyone who needs oral surgery. He pulled one of my teeth and placed the implant in the same procedure. He is both professional and personable. The procedure went perfectly, no pain and fast healing. I would return to him for any similar procedure without hesitation.

The only reason I am even giving one star isn't because of The assistant that took care of me that day, she was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable however I felt like I wasn't being sold the whole time, I go in for a tooth extraction and get talked into wisdom teeth removal and thousands of dollars only to speak to the doctor for 20 seconds and for him to then escort me to the desk to pay for the surgery I did not want, I will never go back, patients are obviously a dollar sign here.

Ignore all the hype about getting your wisdom teeth out! Dr. Colgan is the bomb. I had no visible swelling or bruising at all and would recommend him to any one that has to get their wisdom teeth out. It was honestly nothing and I probably spent 2 hours total in their office throughout this whole experience! - Allie

Dr. Colgan and Staff were wonderful each time I was there, all work done was pain free and they always made sure I was comfortable. Would highly recommend Surgical Arts for any work that needs to be done- Appt.'s were so easy to make and they took me in right away the first time when it was an emergency. A 30 minute consultation, no actual work done and $500 was billed to insurance. Another practice beat his quote by $5,000. A complete rip off! Would not recommend based on ethics alone. Make sure you ask what you're being charged for and why they are doing certain procedures or imaging. There are other Doc's in Vero with the same credentials and they won't rip you off. Completely overcharged insurance.
