Dr. John Cleary, MD

Dr. Cleary and his staff made my visit quite pleasant. They were friendly and professional. They made me feel like my time was valuable. I was in and out in half an hour, but I didn’t feel as though my care was compromised.

Appointment was quickly scheduled, wait time was 0 minutes. Dr. Cleary gave full attention to all of my concerns. He articulated his thoughts to me clearly and a follow up with the Breast Center was swiftly handled. His personable demeanor and interaction skills makes it easy to trust his guidance. Very fortunate to have him in the same practice as Dr. Payne.

Have been experiencing multiple negative symptoms since menopause. Dr. Clearly was very compassionate, and spent a significant amount of time with me listening to my concerns and explaining what he believed was happening, possible treatment plans, next steps, etc. Then he conducted a thorough exam…best GYN exam ever. So gentle and made me feel completely comfortable. Wish I met him years ago!

Dr. Clearly is an amazing provider. He’s very thorough and takes times with each of my visits whether it is a simple exam or more complex follow up for gyn issues. I have moved out of Indianapolis but travel back to continue seeing him. Highly recommend.

Dr. Cleary is very concerned with making sure you have the best treatment and outcome. Even when the news isn’t the best, he delivers it to where you feel more at ease and recommends the best treatment possible for your situation. His knowledge and experience helped me in making a decision that saved me a lot of stress, time, money and quite possibly my life down the road. So thankful.

I have been a patient of Dr Cleary's for 13 1/2 years. His has excellent bedside manner. He has always been pleasant. Even though I moved 100 miles away, I still make appointments with him. Great service is always a blessing and means so much!!!

An excellent visit with Dr. Cleary. He and staff worked me into his schedule for a well woman checkup, along with addressing my concerns that brought to the office that day.

Returning to an OB after a medically traumatic birth is hard. I did not trust doctors after my past experiences. I found Dr Cleary through friend recommendations and I’m so glad I did! His office runs on time, I did not have to wait, he was kind, he listened, and he seemed very knowledgeable about my past high risk conditions. His demeanor is exactly what women stressed about difficult medical situations need. His office staff had similar kindness. Very glad to have found him!

Dr. Clearly performed a total hysterectomy on me. He treated me with monthly lupron injection in preparation for surgery as my uterus and fibroids were not only enlarged but lined up horizontally, making it challenging for laparoscopic surgery. The surgery was a success and I'm back to my normal duties after 48 hours of surgery. Thank you Dr. Clearly!

We were called back from the lobby at our appointment time and placed in a room. We waited 50 minutes in that room to be seen by Dr. Cleary. After waiting all that time he spent a grand total of 7 minutes with us. I am 39+ weeks pregnant. He checked my cervix and told me they would see me next week. He didn't check the baby's positioning. He didn't ask if I had any questions, he didn't have questions, he didn't mention my high bp. Overall just poor poor treatment. I won't be seeing him again.

Best doctor I've ever had. I miss this practice!
