He's pretty rude and egotistical. It's hard to look past how he talks over you and down to you. He's always got to be right, even if there's no right or wrong. I've heard him talk to other healthcare professionals and he talks in the same manner. Doesn't make him much of a 'professional' if that's how he treats colleagues, in my opinion. He might be a good doctor, knowledgeable and whatnot, but his negative demeanor overshadows all of that. And if he feels the need to justify himself to every negative review shows that he values how people view him, so maybe try and be a more courteous person instead? The world needs better people, not professionals who call others liars. But what do I know? I'll probably get a negative reply from him trying to justify how I'm wrong for this honest opinion

Lacks respect of patients privacy or concern
The front staff was extremely respectful and kind. Dr. Chiu on the other hand was flat out rude and didn’t hide any emotions. I would never recommend him to a patient if their life depended on it. I feel horrible for his staff for having to deal with a small minded individual that lets their ego get the best of them. I’ve also noticed that he responds to reviews himself, where he is not only snarky but also details private information to the public. For someone who takes themselves so seriously, you would think that they understand how inappropriate this is.

His billing department is totally not useful. His staff, Barbie, asked me to contact you insurance company for the bill Dr. Chiu charged me on top of the copay.

I have been going to Dr. Chiu for many years now. Awhile ago, when I moved, I switched to a very popular doctor near my new house. That doctor was very personable. However, he couldn't solve my issues or prescribed older generation antiobiotics and I found myself going back to Dr. Chiu for a second opinion, and what turned out to be the resolution. I now use Dr. Chiu exclusively, even though I have to drive a bit. If you want a doctor that is all smiles and idle conversation, then Dr. Chiu may n

When you are in pain and go to Dr, their office staff maters a lot. Dr's office staff start is very very rude. At each step they are rude and more like threatening, one example: They keep copy of your credit card, I don't know, how safe is that and if you ask why, they became so they became impolite. Worse staff.

He clearly is just running a business. I used to come here for my yearly checkup. However my insurance has changed and he's not in my network anymore. So even though I was there for my last checkup, now he doesn't want to refill my prescription anymore, one that I have taken for years. I'm not due for another checkup for another half year and have no other reason to visit a doctor but now I'm forced to see one. So if you think you're profitable then give Dr. Chiu a try, otherwise better not.
