Everything was awful
Single worst experience with a Dr ever. My experience with him in 2021 ruined my life. Everything I was told in the beginning was just to get me to proceed with the surgery. I walked in and have had to use a walker since. I could go on about what happened after surgery but why bother. I wish I had never trusted him to do anything because it was the single worst decision of my life. Do yourself a favor and find a better dr.

2 Failed Spinal Fusions!!
Had severe bilateral leg pain. Had the first lumbar fusion. The hardware broke in 6 months. Dr C said I needed another lumbar fusion. 6 months later after x rays I’m told the fusion broke AGAIN!! Now 5 years later, I can’t walk.

Yo solo puedo decir Gracias Dr. CARIDI. Soy gloria hincapie.

Never actually saw me, denied my procedure EQ
What can I say about a dr who never saw my face, or observed my condition, but denied me of a procedure that would’ve given me a desperately needed boost to my quality of life. My consult was with Dr. Butler, an orthopaedic Surgeon, who after personally assessing my MRI and condition, suggested that immediately do a small non invasive procedure and get on with my life. I needed a new MRI & was told me go through emergency room so that I can faster get an updated MRI in order for me to get the procedure ASAP. I spent 10 hours down there, and because Dr. Butler had to leave, he assigned me to his colleague Dr, Caridi, who never saw my face, my inability to stand or walk or even sit, , but rather made his decision to deny my procedure from the assessments made by his assistants and an ER doctor who only witnessed my condition while I was laying in bed under a blanket. At the time, Lying was the only position that was pain free. I left and consider it a blessing I never met dr Caridi

Dr Caridi took the time to sit and explain thoroughly the procedure he had recommended for me, and anticipated outcome. He patiently waited for questions as I processed the information provided. He and his team were very readily available to respond to follow up questions as they came up. He and his team were very serious but kind from start to finish and are an exceptional care group. His surgical skill has alleviated me of the debilitating pain which affected function and quality of life.

Presenting definite cervical nerve root symptoms, I was referred by my physiatrist knowing full well that my presentations had no distinct cause and I was unlikely to be a a surgical candidate. I had a bi-level C-Spine fusion in 2000 and have managed it very well I have C-Spine experience. I find it unconscionable that in two visits I was never seen by the Dr. My CT results were reviewed by a nurse P. While not like maybe Caridis 13 yr exp. would have seen something. Medicine cheapened
