Saw doctor month ago, even after reading negative reviews. Disappointed because he told me come back in a month.Told me take Ibuprophen twice a day, which I was already doing. Made another appt for this coming Friday as requested. I called today, two day prior to cancel. The office staff asked me why I was cancelling. What? Why do you need to know why I am cancelling? It wasn't the question. It was the way it was asked! It went downhill from there. I am RN! Never go there! Poor service!

1 year later increased weakness in the hand and presurgery pain resumed. Got a nice costly scar though. Not pleased, going to neurologists for testing.

Dr Burns was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and caring. My bandage needed to be changed and he had me in his office first thing to change it and told me to call him whenever i needed to talk to him. He did surgery on both hands and i will highly recommend him to anyone i know that is having hand issues

I would not recommend Dr. Burns. I visited Dr. Burns for a follow-up review of a broken hand. He reviewed the X-Rays, and told me I didn't need the splint anymore. I would have a bump on my hand, but everything would be ok. I paid my co-pay and went home. This was maybe a 5-10 minute visit, so you can imagine my surprise when I was billed for $1000 for SURGERY! I'm still fighting the billing department and the crazy thing is that the insurance company is ON MY SIDE. Avoid this office.

He was quite concerned about having me tell him my occupation. I asked why everyone kept asking about that and he said he needs to knee. He then told me it was foolish not to want to put that down. Then he said that he's a surgeon and if he operates he needs to know to restore me to my job. At this point he had not even looked at my hand to see what the problem was. He then said I needed to see a different type of Doctor.
