I wish I never had my surgery done by Dr. Buren
My surgery was in November of 2023 for a bunion. It is now August 22nd, 2024 and I am still in very bad pain from the surgery. When I told him about the pain and the inability to bend my foot at all, he said that he could remove the plate that he put in, but I would have to wait a full year. He said that he does not understand why I cannot bend my foot and said that it's likley due to me not stretching and soaking my foot enough. 'I soak it , stretch and rub it consantly.' I will not go back to a doctor who doesn't listen to his patients and blames them for the pain.

Patient and thorough
My son saw Dr Buren two times for his foot. He was very attentive and kind. He listened to our concerns and was thorough, showing us the x-rays and explaining everything. I would highly recommend him for foot concerns.

Dr Buren treated me for a bone spur. The surgery was successful. He did a great job, very small scar. He took the time to explain exactly what was going to happen, showing me via the x-ray. His bedside manner could be better, but I'd rather have a job well done than a happy smile. His staff is wonderful, very competent.
