Biopsied my gallbladder instead of my liver...damn near killed me. Not even an apology.

Dr. Boydstun makes assumptions and does not truly listen to what you are telling him. I went to him for many years. He totally dismissed symptoms of my completely nonfunctioning gallbladder. It had to be removed as an emergency surgery. He pushed pills and kept switching from one medication to another stating he was “trying to cause constipation”. I continually reported the medications were making my IBS worse & causing extreme pain and instead of listening, he would increase my dosage. My IBS symptoms continued to get worse to the point I felt like I was dying. After pleading for help I was told to just continue the medications. I was exceptionally dehydrated and nearly ended up in the hospital. When I FINALLY switched to my new Dr. He asked questions and I finally had a voice. I was tested for common things and within 1 week I had answers. Dr Boydstun never did these tests. A simple test would have avoided the many years of painful symptoms. He took an oath to do no harm… He failed!

Dr Boydstun and staff are excellent, Dr. Boydstun bed side manner is 2nd to none, explains procedure very well. The nurse who started my IV was one of the best considering I have very tuff skin probably from spending a a lot time outdoors when I was younger, where other staff over the years have blown my veins, she did it the first time , really good at her position. Also I might add all the staff made sure I was comfortable while waiting my turn. Love these guys, Go OSF!

Good "bedside" manner, explained colonoscopy procedure very well to both me & my wife. Includes immediate follow-up post-procedure. Highly recommended.
