DON’T RISK YOUR LIFE
Do not use Dr. Armstrong! I saw him for post-menopausal vaginal bleeding and he told me it was caused by a benign polyp in my uterus. It turned out that it was actually a very aggressive form of cancer and that during the many months of delay in getting it correctly diagnosed, then removed and treated, my body created antibodies to fight the cancer. Unfortunately, this auto-immune condition also attacked my brain and spinal nerves. As a result, I spent 2 months in a hospital, am mostly bedridden, barely able to walk a few steps with a walker, and it seems this may be permanent. I have since learned that for the medical profession, post-menopausal bleeding means cancer is present, unless definitively proven otherwise. I wish I had known that and that I could revisit my decision to be treated by him.

The worst experience ever. Never ever trust him!
I went to a visit after finding out I had abnormal cells show up on my pap smear with another doctor. The other doctor couldn't get me in for 6 weeks for a colposcopy and so Dr. Armstrong took me in a few weeks earlier so I could get confirmation of cancer or not. I went in, paid out of pocket, and was told I would have results in 7-10 days. As I left, he said he didn't need to do a biopsy because the cervix looked fine. I trusted him. However, I had another colposcopy already scheduled with my original DR and went in for that last week. She did 8 biopsies and I have cervical cancer. I am scheduled to remove it next week. If I had waited another 6-12 months, she said my 5 year survival rate would have been 60%. If I had listened to Dr. Armstrong, it would be a 60% chance that I would be alive in 5 years. I still do not have my results from his office. They never called me or gave me an update. I am so upset and I hope this review helps others who are looking for answers.Do not go here!

Never again will I see a 'regular" gynecologist. For years I've preferred herbs, nutrition, acupuncture, etc over western medicine. But results of a breast thermography sent me to him once I learned he ROUTINELY uses ultrasound. On the spot I watched the exam & got immediate feedback.-- fortunately all is ok. But a bit later I needed a pelvic. Ultrasound eliminates pain of this exam and danger of mammograms. (Dr. A does recommend Mammograms--- but I don't). He's a jewel.

All my experiences with Dr. Armstrong have always been positive. He was my gyn for years, performed surgery on me and when I stared having health problems that my others doctors could not diagnose...It was Dr. Armstrong who tested me and found out It was my thyroid (Hashimoto's) and then referred me for follow-up. Unfortunately I have since moved out of the area and had to obtain another doctor. However I shall always remain grateful to Dr. Armstrong.

I have been seeing Dr. Armstrong for the past 16 years and couldn't be happier. His holistic approach, unparalleled knowledge and delightful demeanor are simply unmatched. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time needed to thoroughly discuss any questions or concerns. I couldn't imagine going to any other gynecologist and would highly recommend him to any woman looking for the highest quality and most comprehensive health care.
