Worse Experience Ever
The office personnel were pleasant and willing to offer very professional assistance. Dr. Adams's nurse was also very courteous and professional. The doctor did not grab my health history and list of prescriptions stored outside the exam room to review upon entering the clinical room. The doctor did not have a courteous demeanor and he lacked a courteous bedside manner. As I explained my reason for going to his office for care he looked like he was 'drifting on a memory.' He did not hear or address my health concerns. Therefore, I frantically began searching for another healthcare provider but no one else would see me after I informed them that I went to him first.

Knowledgeable and courteous
This was an initial visit. Dr Adams was very knowledgeable about my condition and calmed by initial concerns during our consultation. He and his staff showed courtesy and discretion while performing the exam. I feel confident about having the procedure performed on my next visit.

He has ZERO bedside manner. Very rude. Doesn’t listen. Dismissive. Condescending. Not the best feeling when you’re facing a potential health crisis. Perhaps he is a better surgeon, but I requested a referral elsewhere.

Dr John Adams did an emergency removal of 14 inches of my colon- January, 2014. My recovery was quick and without the need for a a colostomy. He is a wonderful surgeon and I received excellent care during treatment and a complete recovery.
