Believes in Overbooking!!!!
I arrived promptly for my appointment this morning. I have been waiting for 45 minutes. There are numerous people waiting to be called back: 4 people are waiting outside and 4 people are having to stand up as they wait (one of whom is on crutches). I understand many doctors overbook their patients, however if you are going to do so, at least provide enough seating in the waiting area. My experience with this doctor was the same for a scheduled outpatient procedure at the hospital. I waited nearly 5 hours from the time of my scheduled procedure for him to show up and perform my procedure. I was told by hospital staff that this doctor is always running late. I am not impressed!

Saved my life in 2019
I was admitted to the hospital without a diagnosis and it was obvious that I was dying but Dr. Christmas did not give up on me he kept testing and researching and he kept treating me until he had me well enough to go home still without a confirmed diagnosis. 5 weeks later he called me in to see him and he had finally gotten results of some labs that he had sent to out of state facilities and they both confirmed I have a rare and terminal disease and he gave me a lot of good advice and I listened and did as he advised . I am still alive and the disease has been in remission for 4 yrs now and my body has actually started making antibodies towards this disease and I give God and Dr. Christmas all the praise and glory . If any other Dr. Would have been called in to see me I probably would not be sharing this today. I very highly recommend Dr. Joey Christmas and always will.

My experience with Dr Christmas
I was being treated in Augusta Georgia and Aiken South Carolina until we had to move to Jesup Georgia. At the Medical College of Georgia I was told that I needed several surgeries in Aiken South Carolina I was told I needed several surgeries all of this has been corroborated by no less than eight different specialists. I was sent to Dr Christmas in Jesup Georgia at 311 Peachtree Street so he could review my open cut where I had an abscess that hasn't healed in over a month thanks to the local hospital. He packed the wound with a bleach solution he called it and it burns a great deal even online when you look it up it is said to have severe pain associated with using this type of liquid while packing a wound. He did not give me anything for the pain he did not give me any antibiotics but what he did do when I tried to speak with him about who I needed to see for my double hip replacement back surgery and skin removal and grafting was that I didn't need any of those surgeries. Now bear i

I am so impressed with Dr. Christmas from the first time I met him. He took time to listen and then told me what we should do. He did a colonoscopy and an endoscope so well that when I woke up, I didn't even feel like I had had those procedures. Amazing! A special doctor for sure!

Dr. Christmas performed an emergency appendectomy on both my wife and my daughter. He explained everything perfectly to me. His bedside manner might not be the best but that is understandable considering the circumstances. He is very black and white and that’s who I want, and you always need, working on a daughter and within 2 months of each other.

Dr. Christmas is unprofessional, dishonest and rude. He took my boyfriends gallbladder and appendix even though he couldn't "figure out' which was causing the issue. My boyfriend has suffered abscesses and staph infection due to these surgeries, and now having to treat with another doctor because the gallbladder incision has herniated. My boyfriend ALSO got an UTI from the catheter after he stated it was "impossible" for a man to get an UTI. I wouldn't let this man take care of my dog.

My son was referred to Dr. Christmas for possible appendicitis. I was more than pleased with the entire process...from office visit to dismissal from hospital. I cannot express how appreciative we are that we were placed in the care of Dr. Christmas. I hope that no one in my family has to go through another surgery, but we will definitely consider a 45 minute drive to see Dr. Christmas.

Doc won't do a biopsy on a breast lump that has been present for more than 6 months. I live with constant fear I have cancer that's not being treated. I have excellent insurance that will pay for anything that needs to be done
