I was able to have a successful VBAC with Dr. Thomas as my doctor. I was extremely nervous about being able to have a successful delivery after having a traumatizing c-section experience with my first. Dr. Thomas was rational and knowledgable when addressing my questions and concerns, while still being emotionally supportive and thoughtful. I felt very supported in having my preferences for the delivery honored. I am very, very grateful for my positive birth experience with her.

Joelle is an incredibly supportive and informative doctor, which I needed while having my first child during a pandemic! Me and my husband were so grateful for her experience, taking the time answering our many questions, and bedside manner. We are so grateful she was my dr throughout my pregnancy and delivered our son. We cannot recommend her enough and Seattle Obgyn.

Dr. Thomas delivered our first child and we had a great experience with her both during delivery and at all of our appointments leading up to the delivery.

Dr. Thomas recommended the most invasive procedure for removing a fibroid (myomectomy/uterus removal). I specifically asked if a minor surgery/procedure could be done and she said no. I got a second opinion from surgeons who gave me more information inlcuding I need an MRI to get more information; there are different types of fibroids, and mine has the lowest risk of coming back; and that it could be removed with minor surgery. I don't trust Dr. Thomas's knowledge or skill.

I had a great experience with Dr. Thomas. She clearly cares about her patients, is knowledgeable, and won't let you leave your visit without explaining everything clearly. I keep my care with her despite moving a bit farther out from town and highly recommend her.
