I have been a patient of Dr. Walker's for over ten earsand I can say that he is competent, professional and knowledgable. I find he is easy to talk to and has always given me as much time as I might need. Highly recommend him to anyone . Am sure that anyone lucky enough to have him as their primary care physician would agree with me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Walker for over 6 years. I appreciate his professionalism and concern for my health management. If you are looking for a top notch health care provider, he fits the bill 110%. If you are looking for a friend, get yourself a pet. I recently moved out of his territory and to another city about an hour away. I gladly make the two hour round trip for this outstanding physician. Thank you Dr. Walker.

We love Doctor Walker! He is relatable, down to earth and always friendly and knowledgeable in whatever we ask. Kids have been patients for 18 years and my husband and I switched to Dr Walker recently and have been pleased with the high quality of care from him and his staff.

This doctor stated how all staph in healthy people only affects skin. He was only recommending mucinex until I got on him for my Mom who is a Congestive Heart Patient our house already tested positive to sinus and bacterial bronchitis. He came in closed over stern and rude rushing and jumping straight to virus. Then when I spoke up and stated these facts he became very stand off and rude saying I was attacking. Yet when mom pointed out I was asking and letting him know for her health he stated how long he had been a doctor and how dare I question and I know nothing! When quoting Mayo who deals with all my babies infections for immune disease he started yelling telling me not to quote anything and read but to be quiet. Then he finally said if I would have not spoken he would have finished with antibiotic. Though he already told us it was a virus and to use No ibuprofen unless unbearable and to just use mucinex. After he rudely finished power tripping and stating we know nothing about in

I went to see Dr. Joel Walker, being a glutton for punishment, on numerous occasions. Not on one occasion did he say or express anything helpful. Dr. Joel Walker is a pompous and has no regard for his patients. He is an arrogant, for no reason, because he is an insecure individual. No doubt a bad childhood experience I assume. He shows no empathy nor does he display any kind of bedside manner. I will have to say as long as he continues to practice medicine in this way he will continue to be ineffective as a physician and a patient's worst nightmare. A total ignoramus, as well as, a buffoon to the medical field.

Not personable at all. Spent 10 minutes with him, he made little eye contact and spent most of the time with his back turned to me typing notes on the computer. Very disappointed.

Dr. Walker became my PCP in Dec. 2015 when my PCP of 12 years was no longer covered by ins. He immediately questioned and changed the blood pressure medications that worked great for years. I had dizzy spells with the new medicine so he cut the dosage. When I complained of a persistent cough, he told me to stop taking the BP med altogether. I called the office stating a BP of 144/114 and was told to give it a couple of weeks. A week latter still have cough and today a BP of 162/106.

Dr. Walker has been my children's pediatrician for over 10 years and I trust his decision and know that he has my children's best interest at heart. He explains himself very thoroughly. However, due to the beautiful government mandated insurance plans and the fact that my family is self-insured, small business owners, we will not be able to see him any longer since his practice only accepts company based plans. Sadly, our level of care will never compare to the care that my children received.
