Dr. Joel Teicher, MD

Dr Teicher is the OBGYN I’ve ever had and probably the best doctor in general. He’s very knowledgeable - he’s kind - patient - understanding and does a great job of helping my anxiety and thoroughly explaining everything. He did a LEEP procedure on me after my HPV became pre cancerous in my cervix. He did the procedure- Kept me calm and got rid of it all. On my next pap the HPV was gone. GONE. Also he was great for my high risk pregnancy with my daughter. He always says hi to her at my appointments. I hope every women can have access to this kind of doctor and healthcare. I’m so thankful. If he hadn’t given me the care plan he did I may not be here to see my daughter grow up.

Dr. Teicher is very caring and kind. He takes the time to answer all questions and welcomes them. He provides all the options and helps to educate you to make a decision.

Dr Teicher delivered my youngest son . He was very informative, kind, and professional. He took time to listen to my concerns during the pregnancy. He also performed my hysterectomy without any complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Teicher to anyone having a baby or any other gynecological surgery. Can’t get any better than this doctor .

I felt that Dr. Teicher did not care about my concerns and pushed me out before I was able to get all the information I needed.

I had seen Dr. Teicher for both pregnancies. He was really understanding. If I had a concern he reassured me that I would be ok. He is great Dr. and person.

They’re just aren’t enough words to explain how incredible Dr. Teicher is. He’s been my dr for 8 years and has performed 5 major surgeries on me. He’s literally the best. You can’t do any better!

He was cavalier and dismissive of my concerns.

Dr. T is simply the most compassionate doctor in the southwest. Not only is he thoroughly educated, he also regularly follows current medical journals and is always informed about possibly up and coming advances within his area of expertise. He listens to each and everyone of his patients with an open ear, and open mind, and an open heart. He encourages patients to take a personal interest in their medical health and does not react out of defences when it is something he hadn't considered or didn't know about. I owe my life to this man. He has single handedly kept me alive! And has given me some quality of life back when no one else could. I cannot say enough good about him! Thank you Dr. T. He was my OB for my 2nd pregnancy. He was always able to answer my questions and helped with my concerns from my first deliveries complications. Very calming and very fast at responding to messages or calling back.

I recently had what should have been a routine hysterectomy with Dr. Teicher. Unfortunately, he did not seal my left uterine artery properly, so, a few hours later, my blood pressure plummeted dangerously and I had an emergency CT scan that showed that I was bleeding out into my abdomen and had lost 800ml of blood. The night doctor on call saved my life with emergency surgery and a blood transfusion. Afterward? Not so much as an apology from Dr. Teicher. Avoid at all costs.

He is simply one of the best doctors I have met. He is great at listening the patients concerns. He has always shown to be very courteous and gives excellent service. He is also very friendly. I drove an hour and a half on every prenatal visit but it was worth it. He is one of the few doctors that supported my decision of having a vbac (after two c-sections) I already had three succesful vbacs. He always responded to my calls or emails very promptly. I highly recommend him!

Love Dr. Teicher! He has been my Dr since my first pregnancy and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was so patient and never made me feel rushed at all, always listened to my concerns and took the time to explain things to me. He would even ask me how things were going in my life and remembered stuff I told him. I feel so comfortable with him and plan on keeping him as my Dr as long as I can!
