Excellent bed side manner.
After a 4 day hospital stay with a complication & infection post surgical, he did everything in his power to make sure I was receiving the platinum care I deserve. He saved my life with his interventions. His PA Angela was equally helpful & friendly.

Dr. Joel McKinsey is one of the best doctors, I was on the brink of death when I was taken to Research Hospital, I lived around 100 miles away but as soon as I arrived my family told me that he was right there and told them honestly about a chance of low prognosis for me. But Dr. McKinsey and the team he worked with saved my life and three hours after the surgery I got up out of that bed and walked down the hall further than they anticipated. He is a wonderful doctor and his staff that work in the office and in the room where you receive your injections or drips are phenomenal. Thank you for your excellent care, each and everyone of you.

Exceptional. I was in hosp for broken pelvis & had recently had a very new procedure for copd of inserting Spiration valves in a nonfuntioning lobe of my lung at another hosp, not on record at this one. It made my xrays appear to be infected with covid at this hosp. As a safety measure, I was transferred to the covid ward & had test run immediately. The 1st test came back neg & this Dr came in to very graciously apologise as well as to carefully explain how & why I was temporarily being safely held in this unit & that a 2nd test had to be taken & come back neg before I could be returned to the reg unit, but gently & reassuringly stated he was sure it would be neg too. Sure enough, the next day, I heard the simular old strip tease tune from behind the divider curtain in my room being sung by a pair of nurses..da da da.....da da da da...da da da da da.., then hands flinging 2 yellow ppe's, to the same strippy tune with the words "your 2nd test came back" then a pair of hands flinging a

This Dr wasn't what anyone would consider as a good Dr or just a Dr. I was referred to him by my PCP and what ensued had to be a nightmare in broad day light. He asked a lot of questions, while noting he did not have my chart. He said I need to go to a Rhymitoyd Dr. So did that by 2 Drs & my issue wasn't in their scope. So I went back & he was very angry when he saw me. At one point he yelled, I could care less about your complaint. I've never seen a Dr like this and warn any to steer clear.
