Dr. Joe Onwuta, MD

He genuinely cares about my level of pain, and he develops a care plan to fix it! He, hands down is the most professional and knowledgeable Dr in pain management. My quality of life has been dramatically improved since he became my Dr!

Dr. Onwuta is a liar, he wrote multiple things in my notes that I never said including that I had an issue with my elbow when I've never had anything wrong with my elbow my entire life. He also didn't understand my conditions and kept contradicting what I was telling him and what the medical literature says.

I recently had 6 medial block injections from Dr Onwuta, and for me they worked very well. He explained everything to me before my procedure and the staff was very good as well.

Caring, professional, and smart. He is compassionate and willing to discuss Ootions. Great doctor!!

I had an appointment for 1:00 PM and out of respect for the doctors and their time, Arrived 15 minutes early. After a few minutes I was directed to a examination room and after nurse took all of my vitals, I sat till 1:45 PM and no doctor in sight. Not even a soul came by to say doctor was running late. I just got up and left as my time is as valuable as doctors time if not more. They are scheduling too many patients to maximize their money making business and they do not care for patients health.

Listens to every concern that I have and works with me (the patient) to try and figure out what is causing the pain so it will not be a life long issue and never ending regimen of pills.

I never got the visit. I was waiting two months for an appointment. Finally got a video chat appointment. Only problem is that the chat never took place. These clowns not only lost my MRI cd, but they told me the day of the appointment that they didn't need it, as the doctor hasn't been in his office since April and can't view anything. Then, they tell me I have to reschedule because I didn't fill out paperwork they never mentioned or gave me. Go anywhere else. This office is a damn joke.

this doctor does not understand pain. apparently you only need a stronger pain killer if you hurt your back. you must be an addict if you do not have a back problem. stay away from this quack. if you have any pain that is not back related you are in trouble with this quack.

This is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He does not talk down to you and listens to your concerns. Very personable, very easy to get along with. I would recommend Dr. Onwuta to anyone with pain management issues.

I've been dealing with pain for 6+years and have had different doctors over that time. Dr. Onwuta is great. He listens to me, takes his time to adress my concerns and makes sure I am satisfied and need anything else before I leave my appointment. While you do have to schedule your appointments out a month, I have had a few times where I had to get in right away for refills and the staff was able to help. I 100% recommend Dr. Onwuta.

Dr Onwuta and staff abandoned me after 5 years of being his patient and paying out of pocket. I needed to address my mental health and needed to get off of opioids before entering 28 day inpatient facility for depression. He refused to help me his staff was beyond cruel to me telling me he's triple booked everyday and I couldn't get in for a month to see him. Even after I explained my serious situation. I'm heartbroken over this he doesn't care about his patients well being and doesn't listen

Been seeing him for years because I can't find another Doctor. Dr. Onwuta always makes me wait and then I feel he isn't listening or believing me. He hasn't helped me one bit.

Dr Onwuta is an exceptional pain doctor! He strives to find the root cause of the pain and address it from there. I would highly recommend them to all family and friends
