This doctor suggested questionable diet tips when I mentioned my weight gain. She didn’t ask any questions, just jumped into “you can’t eat a full sandwich”.

Dr M is pretty full of herself. She refused to continue treating my wife simply because my wife cancelled her appointment after a transient condition resolved itself. Not a physician due to her lack of empathy (sociopathy?). Will never be what we call a doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Mayhew for some time now and it was because of her care for my elderly parents that I came to know her amazing manner with those of all ages. Dr. Mayhew visited both my parents when they were transferred to skilled nursing and the few times they were in the hospital. She advised my father on his literal interpretation of the vegetables he should eat for his diabetes and he listened.

I have been treated by Dr. Mayhew for over six years and she has an astute way of listening to the issues I am experiencing and giving me solid advise as to a proper course of treatment. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Mayhew has been my doctor for 10 yrs now. She’s very positive and really wants to know you as a person not just a patient.. I love that she doesn’t automatically grab her prescription pad to fix my illness or problems. She goes above and beyond to treat me and her staff is so warm and kind. I have no trouble scheduling appointments and her staff is always responsive to my questions or needs.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mayhew?
Dr. Mayhew loves to have students at her clinic, and she seems to love to prescribe medications. One visit a student got my weight wrong by 50 pounds, and the doctor started discussing diabetes with me until I asked what my weight was listed at - and it was incorrect! The last time she diagnosed me with one condition and said we could ignore it or do surgery, then she reversed her diagnosis and said I had something I didn't have and put me on an aggressive liquid diet that landed me in the ER.

Dr. Mayhew advises me on the things I need not always what I want. When I became extremely ill in 2016 she visited me at the hospital 2 different times. Dr. Mayhew always spends time and listens to my concern, sees my entire family and has a wonderful caring staff.

The staff at Dr. Mayhew's office are all very kind and helpful. Dr. Mayhew herself was only nice until my personal health choices differed from her own, and then she became very rude. She did not treat what I came in for, and spent most of her time lecturing me on why my choices were selfish and incorrect. If you are looking for a holistic DO (as I was) this is not your doctor.
