Whole person care
Dr. Hinson is clearly a knowledgeable expert in women seeking healthy longevity of life during the pre-menopausal years and after. The care of women after the reproductive system starts closing down can easily be neglected in the traditional medical world. Dr. Hinson is an expert here. She knows what questions to ask, and treats the whole person. She does not rush into giving hormone treatment to solve the problems. I had to agree to be willing to make lifestyle changes. And WITH that we introduced hormone therapy for me. This takes patience and it is not a quick fix.The first appointment was in person and I came from out of state. Worth it. After that, appointments are over the phone where I can get blood tests with my family medicine practice and send to her. She has a convenient app to put the non-prescription supplements in where I can directly order from. She’s the real deal! and IMO look past the low reviews.

Dr. Hinson was incredibly rude to my daughter during her visit. When she was uncomfortable or in pain, Dr. Hinson made her feel like it was her fault and like there was something wrong with her. She ignored her when she told her vital medical information, and has so far been horrible with follow up. She even charged my daughter for tests she would have known wouldn't work if she'd actually listened. Don't go to this woman, and don't let anyone you love go to her, either.

She ignored vital medical information when I told her, then made me get a $173 medical test she knew in advance wasn't going to work. It was so obviously wrong that the tech doing the test, who DID listen, was absolutely shocked that someone would recommend the test for me when it was so obviously inappropriate. If you value your health or your wallet at all, stay away from Dr. Joanne Hinson at all costs.

I was nervous, scared to tears. I don't deal with exams very well. Dr Hinson was not just understanding she was compassionate. She took extra time and really listened to what I was trying to tell her. She's one of the good ones.

VERY RUDE FRONT DESK, I was 12 minutes late and I have called in before my appointment and notified them that I will be 10 minutes late. And they said I should be fine, then when I arrived the office, while I was finishing my paperwork, they told me that my appointment was cancelled because Doctor Hinson has to go to a meeting. Couple days later, I recevied a billing saying that I missed the appointment and charged me $50 for that. Messed up policy, rude front desk, worst experience.

Starts with her excellent Nurse, the calm office setting Dr Hinson takes the time when examining you and then off to her office so that she can sit down with you, while dignified to explain what is going with you with video and or a model to then show you what is happening to you and how she plans to fix it. Very professional! Great Bedside manner, Wonderful person. Thank You Dr Hinson
