Dr. Cooper is cold, booked out three months for any sort of visit, and most frustrating, impossible to contact. It typically takes me a dozen calls over weeks to get in touch with her even for simple questions, like whether an appointment is in person or remote. Most recently, she was totally unreachable by my insurance company, or me, after I had a procedure she prescribed. My insurance needed some notes, tried to contact her three times, and without being able to reach her, sent me a thousand dollar bill. She doesn't pick up the phone, for me or for hospital administration. She is the single worst doctor I have ever worked with, I have no idea how she still has a position. She is known by sleep techs around the bay as "the dragon" and she lives up to the title.

My GP referred me to Dr. Cooper because I have been dealing with sleep maintenence issues, and she wanted me to have a sleep study done. Dr. Cooper spent most of the appointment gaslighting me and gave me standard sleep hygiene advice that I could have gotten from an article. She did not take my issue seriously, blaming my cats and the pandemic for the fact that I can't sleep through the night. I left the appointment demoralized and without any real solutions for my problem. Do not recommend.

Poor experience. I've recently had two expensive and uncomfortable procedures with the results sent to their office and have not heard back. She does not run timely, which would sort of be okay, if she was following up better. Her recommendations to improve my sleep has not helped. I assume her office will say I should be making the follow up appointment, which I find unacceptable. At some point, they should follow up, particularly based upon the amount of money they charge. You have to beg, wait and pay a lot of money to get care and then it does not feel like your issues are being properly addressed. To call for an appointment you have to be transferred, put on hold and that is not easy either. Then wait weeks or months to get an appt. She has a "great" reputation and very busy and essentially doesn't care or actually hear the complaints. Presumably if you are busy and you help some people, YOU/Dr. Cooper, think you/she is doing a good job. What you think doesn't make it true.

Waited almost 2 hours for my appt. It was supposed to be at 4:15 and I wasn't seen until 6pm! She then did spend a lot of time with me, but if this happens again, I won't be able to see her again.

Agree with other comments: long wait; overcharging for her time and decision making level; unhelpful. Charged almost $600 for the initial consultation on my mid-night insomnia. Tried to deny prescription recommended in my condition without repeating visit. Would not recommend to others.

Ridiculously late for appointments--over 1 hour the fist time, and over 50 minutes the second time, by which I had to get back to work, so I never saw her. Additionally, staff is totally unresponsive, on multiple occasions failing to provide promised follow-up. I can't speak to Dr. Cooper's medical expertise, only that she and her staff have no concept of caring service. I will not be going back.

I had a really good appointment with this doctor and am a bit puzzled by the modest review scores. She spent about 45 minutes with me, asked lots of questions, listened to the answers, and seemed very knowledgeable. More like this one please!

I know she had a busy day and was probably stressed (and I arrived early and patiently waited for over an hour to see her), but throughout the appointment, I did not feel like she cared for me as a person or had empathy for any of my symptoms. She cracked jokes during our conversations that made light of what I was experiencing. I am not one to judge her medical expertise, I just know that she did not treat me with respect, genuine care, or good bedside manner.
