Dr. Joanna Boydston, MD

I saw this provider twice. The first time I had a IUD put in and she was great. Really liked her and was happy to have finally found a new Gyn. Second time I saw her was not so great. Office staff is not great as someone that has been in the medical field for 23 years. I waited for about 3 hours for my pap. Nobody came to tell me there was anything going on. Just sat there. When I Finally was ready to get up and cancel my appointment someone finally told the front that there was an emergency and they were ready to see me. This appointment I felt the exact opposite as the first time. Due to my abnormal paps before it was discussed that I may need to have my 3rd Colpo. I told the doc I wouldn't do another without pain meds. She basically scoffed about that and said they couldnt give me pain meds. She then asked what I would want... IDK, your the doc. She told me the only thing they can give me is an anxiety med. Okay, that doesnt help with pain. Its painful. It was such a horrible experiance I decided to not go back. My pap also came back abnormal and I didnt get a call on it and the email I got stated I didnt need further care. The NP I saw at one point (sandra Winn) was amazing though. I really liked her a lot.

Holy moly! This place was amazing! Scheduling was easy and they got all of my information correct. Kind on the phone, professional in person. (I recently had the opposite experience) so this was striking. The wait time was nonexistent. The nurse was kind, and very attentive. The doctor, Dr boydston took her time and was again, very kind and attentive. She listened to all of my concerns and took them into consideration. All around an amazing experience. :)

Love dr boydston! She is amazing and takes great care of me! She delivered my son and took wonderful care of me the entire pregnancy.

I was directed to go to ER from Urgent Care where I was assigned to Dr. Boydston. I waited for 4 hours in pain. She did not see or talk w/ me before releasing me. I went to her office. No one there was kind or caring. I never felt welcomed or respected. I was clearly an inconvenience, an imposition, and a burden. Still in extreme pain, I finally received an exam after 3 hours of pleading, and the necessary surgery (which should have been performed in the ER) was scheduled later that week.

Doctor Boydston has a wonderful bedside manner. She faked her time and is very cautious of any complications come up during pregnancy. She listens well, and is very knowledgeable and professional. She is also very gentle during exams.
