Warning
I've been going to this clinic for almost 6yrs. The front desk receptionists are rude when asking questions, I had issue with billing which they will not discuss. They used wrong billing code so now having to pay for yearly health check which shouldn't cost at all through my insurance. I've waited over a month and a half for office manager to return my call which never happened. During my 6-month cholesterol recheck in November I was told everything was good. I asked to get copy of my results I waited two weeks to find out they were never mailed. I drove and picked them up. When reviewing my results didn't even include Cholesterol. Nobody will return my call as to why it wasn't tested and reason why I came in the first place. Bill twice as high as my original. I called over a week ago to set up appointment because of a lump I found. Lady said she needed to get copy of my last results which was already have. They never called me back so having to find new doctors

Very Good Personal Care Physician
Dr. Allmon is a very good physician! She is thorough, listens to you, tries very hard to correctly diagnose your problem on the first try! I think she is great and has unmeasurable concern for her patients. I don't know how anyone could possibly have a better staff than the one at Allmon Internal Medicine. The staff is so considerate and helpful! Wait times at the office have never been over ten to fifteen minutes at the most.

Lousy with a Capital L
If you are new to the area, and looking for a new provider, look elsewhere. It'll take weeks, if not months, to get a new patient intake appointment. Then when you do get an appointment, they'll keep you waiting around an hour, which is, according to the nurse practitioner, 'normal.' Pretty rich, since they have a notice in reception telling patients they have zero tolerance for lateness. As for the elusive Dr Allmon, I am beginning to wonder if she even exists, since you won't see her, but you will see the aforementioned nurse practitioner, who is so busy, she's running around like a headless chicken. This place us just a money making conveyor belt. They simply have no respect for the patient's time. You have been warned...

Disregarded Concerns, communication and billing
My recent appointment at Dr. Allmon's clinic started with promise but ended in frustration. Despite detailing specific health concerns during a routine physical, my worries were brushed off in my lab results note. This lack of attention was disheartening.Subsequent attempts to address this via calls were met with delays and vague responses. Even my concern about an unexpected copay bill for a routine physical was mishandled, revealing potential transparency issues.Dr. Allmon's clinic's dismissive approach to health concerns, communication lapses, and questionable billing practices have left me questioning their professionalism and integrity.

Bad patient experience
After several messages through the patient portal and leaving voice messages without any return follow-up for 6 weeks I decided to find another practice for health care. Dr Allmon stopped seeing me and pushed me to an NP. Which was ok but I am not sure how she determines who is worthy of her time. They were good in person but follow up was terrible.

I actually had a visit at an alternative doctor today, due to Dr Allmon refusing to see patients with any symptoms that maybe leading to a Covid diagnosis. I visited her office after already having had a PCR test that was indeed negative. I was never so upset as when she hustled me out a back door and told me to park out back where they proceeded to perform a rapid test. Also, I called to be seen in the office and never received a call back until the next day, I had called in the morning. I had called the appointment line and the nurse line.

Dr. Allmon is a wonderful, caring, and extremely patient doctor. Many years ago she welcomed me with open arms, (and that’s saying a lot) cause I have lots of issues and chronic illnesses. I love her preventative measures, and no matter how busy she is, she remains thorough. I followed her to this practice because I couldn’t function without her being my doctor. She has changed my life for the better! I HIGHLY recommend her!

She is the most patient doctor who has ever treated me. She caught my breast cancer (very early on) and I am a male. She also caught a very small nodule on my lower left lung which turned out to be lung cancer. It was caught soon enough that I didn't need chemo or radiation treatment. I would follow her if she moved far away if I could.

Dr. Allmon has been my Internist for many years and she is amazing! She's truly one of my heroes. She is very kind, understanding, extremely knowledgeable, and takes as much time as is needed to discuss my very complicated medical issues. She and her staff always put me at ease, and I have complete trust in her and her advice. Can't say enough great about her.
