They never answer their phones. The staff is extremely rude. The DR couldn't care less about your pain and removes your meds you've been taking for years. She's constantly late and even when she is late, she still charge you a 35 dollar late fee! She's the one that's late, not you! She's got a serious attitude problem and the medical board needs to investigate her ASAP. If you're worried about her messing with your medications stay far away from this doctor. She's not friendly at and makes you feel like you're wasting her time. I saw her once and never again. Her manners are so rude it's no wonder she gets a ton of negative reviews. She makes matters worse for you rather than helping you. A pain specialist is a better choice than this woman. If you really need a neurologist you have to go out of town. Manteca, Modesto, Stockton etc. Trust me on this one. You'll be glad you did.

Beware! Dr Woan does NOT listen to patients, nor help them with why they come to see her for. Dr Woan is rude, unprofessional, dismissive, and threatens to walk out of the office if a neurologically impaired patient asks to have his advocate help him communicate during his appointment. Even when the patent begs for and advocate and lets Dr Woan know he will not be able to understand what the doctor is saying, nor remember next steps without an advocate, Dr Woan still refuses to allow the patient to have an advocate (either in person or over the phone). Dr Woan orders unwanted and unnecessary tests while ignoring those the patient is needing and asking for. Dr Woan has her own agenda and it is NOT in line with what the patient is needing or asking for. Dr Woan’s office staff rarely answer’s phone calls (no matter what time of day you call), and it takes weeks for them to respond to voicemail messages. When staff do call back, they have not followed through with anything requested.

I have been seeing Dr. Woan at least 2 times a year for about 10 years. She cares about me as a person. She spends more time per visit than other doctors. Keith W. Tracy CA

My experience with Dr. Woan was poor. I’ve had two appointments with her so far. The first appointment was cancelled as she arrived an hour late to her office and had backed up appointments. At the 2nd visit, she arrived 30 minutes late. Her attitude was not friendly and felt very stand off’ish. If she actually cared about my issues, it was impossible to tell due to a lack of empathy. I would not recommend Dr. Woan to anyone until she improves her attitude and can actually arrive on time to work

Disappointed Patient – Oct 20, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Woan?
I have seen Dr Woan twice for a rare genetic disorder I have (was diagnosed in 1986). She was the only option in Tracy CA. Dr Woan is rude, unconcerned with matters at hand, does not listen to the problem as described by the patient (me). Even when I took her a body of research done for 14-doctors on my condition, she glanced title page and discarded. Dr Woan should not be a physician. Her demeanor is very depressing and she left me in worse condition. I am going to an other city to avoid her.

Have seen DR Woan 3 times. A very fine doctor, She has helped me when several others couldn't. She is very pleasant, witty, and and explains conditions when others lack to do so. I highly recommend her.

After seeing several doctors who refused to listen to me when I described my symptoms I finally found Dr. Woan. She was empathetic, patient and seemingly knowledgeable. Because of her treatment I am now sleeping well, no longer having migraines and have had other personal symptoms either cease or get much better. She does seem like her hands are full so you might want to go to your appointment as prepared as possible.
