Love this doctor but his office staff is the worst.

He told Me that a spot That grew back on top of the previously diagnosed Melanoma Scar was just a freckle and not to worry! He did not biopsy it nor look at it with the specialist tool . He did nothing!! I then noticed my so called FRECKLE getting much bigger and got a second opinion a year and a half later , where they did the biopsy and confirmed it’s now stage 2 Melanoma!!! Thanks a ton doctor for assuming it’s not cancer instead of using your tools that you have to provide an accurate diagnosis!! Your to old to practice when you use your eye ONLY to dictate if someone lives or possibly dies. Now I’m fighting a long and hard battle to catch this that has been on going for 1. Year and 6 months as melanoma. The melanoma you could of cut out if you had done the correct job like you where train to do!!! Now they think it’s moved to my lymph nodes! Retirement is probably due for you

I came in to see this doctor with high expectations and left disappointed. I wasted $117 just for him to tell me what I already knew. Then he asks if I want to go to some convention, and that there is nothing he can do for me. I wasn't even done talking about an issue I've been having for 3 years and he says goodbye and walks out the door. Wow. I was better off with my PCP. To doctor- Maybe you should see this review not as negative, but as way to listen closely to your patients, they know themselves more than you do.

Dr. Schmidt is brilliant, takes on challenging cases, researches thoroughly, and is relentless in his pursuit of diagnosis and cure. He is kind, professional, exceedingly well educated and well respected in his field. Highly recommend Dr. Schmidt, one of the best!

I've seen Dr. Schmidt several times regarding recurring patches of rash which he has never tested or truly treated. I tried to get in to see him yesterday, but was told I needed to have a referral faxed from my PCP before they would even schedule an appointment. I had a hard copy of the referral in my hand, but they could not accept the original (???). I did as I was instructed only to have office staff call to inform me they could no longer take me because they stopped accepting my insurance.

My family and I , for the past 31 years, have been seeing and recommending Dr. Schmidt. He is caring and excellent Doctor!

I visited this doctor with a nail problem (fungus) and one of his assistant clipped a little piece and charged me $150 for the procedure, then sent it to Cockerell Dermatology which charged me another $156 for an exam. He said that the result was negative and that it was a trauma lol. I went to an Orthopedic doctor they performed an exam and it was a fungus and had to get my nail removed. So, not only he gave me a wrong diagnosis but it cost me over $300 for a wrong diagnosis.

rushes through your appointment. all he does is prescribe meds and tries to send everyone to a derma convention meeting . people are their to get help not for you to send them to seminars. if a med doesn't work for you and you tell him he literally said there is nothing else I can do.! horrible!

I love this office; everyone is very friendly which makes it feel like home. Dr. Jimmy Schimidt, MD is the best good-natured, upbeat, and very active and funny. I love all his art on the walls and his round brown glasses he does fit the part. He know what he is talking about and has seen nearly everything. If you have any skin, scalp problems, this is the man to see. He has served our country during some of the hardest times that America had ever seen. I honor you Dr. Jimmy for serving our count
