Dr. Jimisha Patel, MD

Dr.Patel is an amazing pediatrician who has been a wonderful asset in our life. As a family with two working parents it was always hard to find time for last minute sick visits. Dr Patel is always available within our busy schedule and willing to answer our questions and address our concerns in such a timely manner (whether via tele health or in person).She is extremely knowledgeable , understanding and kind and always listens to and values my input as a mother. She truly takes the time to get to know her patients and my children LOVE her.I can't recommend her enough!

Jimisha treats our son like her own. She genuinely cares about his health and well-being and offers advice that suits our style of parenting (we prefer natural, holistic treatments before we try pharmaceuticals). She listens really well and is extremely good with children. Pediatrics clearly is a passion for her, not just a job. Highly recommend!

Dr. Patel is amazing! My oldest daughter was having some issues and Dr. Patel took the time to listen to my concerns as well as my daughter’s. Then she discussed treatment options with both of us. Allowing my daughter input in the decision about her own health and wellbeing made a huge difference. I am very grateful! I would definitely recommend Dr Patel. She is a wonderful pediatrician.

This is the first time I felt heard by my pediatrician! Dr. Patel took the time to listen and thoroughly explained any concerns I had. Her expertise and guidance has been invaluable. I highly recommend Dr. Patel to any parent that is seeking better care.

My child use to be scared of doctors. I am so impressed with how quickly my child has warmed up to Dr. Patel. She even gives her hugs freely. She is truly a great pediatrician!

She’s been our girls doctor since birth has listened to ever concerns with so much care and educates us as first time parents as well. She is exactly what we want out of a provider.

She is rude. She interrupts you. She listens to tell you what she already decided and not to understand your child's condition. She makes judgement calls without proper knowledge of the things she is making decisions about (for example telling a parent that ADHD is not a qualifying diagnosis for DD (formerly MRDD) services). She refuses to hear the side of professionals that do have proper knowledge about DD services. She lies. She said that she was going to complete paperwork after the parent made a special appointment to explain the need for the paperwork, then has the hospital mediator call the next day and say that she isn't going to do it (sign paperwork verifying the diagnosis). I do NOT recommend this doctor, especially if your child has a developmental disability or chronic health condition because she will refuse to complete paperwork that will allow you access to support service for your child.
