Dr. Jill Schellhase, MD

Dr Schellhase cares about my concerns. She refers me to a specialist if needed. I do not have to wait long for my appointment time. She sees me promptly if I have an acute illness.

I have been a patient of Dr Schellhase for years now. I am usually able to get the same or next day appointments. She really takes her time and listens. I never feel rushed. She’s a researcher so she will investigate symptoms. She has been a great support over the years.

Able to get same day appt. Dr. Schellhase was pleasant ,attentive,and gave clear instructions on Bactrim. I appreciate her willingness to help me.

Dr. Schellhase was there when I was born, and then shortly thereafter (as my mom tells me) she had opened a private practice in Baltimore. She's been the PCP of my family since then and is the best. While she's moved around and has partnered with FMC, she is still personable, attentive, and has THE BEST demeanor I've come across with a PCP.

I have only had a few in person appointments with Dr Schellhase since switching to her as our primary care physician. I have been impressed at each visit. She reads lab results, and test reports plus information I’ve brought in on my unique disorder before meeting with me. She is already informed before coming in to see me in the exam room. She starts each appointment by asking what I’d like to address at the visit. When answering my questions or explaining an issue she states her professional opinion backed up by years of experience plus knowledge of recent information on the subject. She is always professional and respectful. She asks if I have any further questions before ending the appointment. I enjoy that because I’ve usually forgotten to ask at least one question. I am thrilled to be working with Dr Jill Schellhase now.

I was a previous patient of Dr Schellhase and she's the best I've had in over 20 years. Attentive and easy to talk with. She's on the ball for script refills and all needs. I'm requesting to have her as my primary care Dr again. I missed her.
