Dr. Jill Norman, MD

Dr. Norman is probably fine for teens and adults, but she needs to learn how to talk to young kids, from the vocabulary she uses to rapport building. Her office isn’t really child friendly. She doesn’t have toys or art supplies readily available. She talked about our child’s issues with them present. Dr. Norman consulted with our child’s physician who described her as having “strong opinions” and “not open to listening.” To her credit, she didn’t bill for it.

I feel very fortunate that I found Dr. Norman. Reaching out for help was really hard for me. I have only been with Dr. Norman a short while and since the beginning, I have felt both seen, and heard by her…which in turn, has helped me to feel safe. Dr. Norman has been supportive, understanding, helpful, caring, calm and compassionate. And I couldn't have picked a better psychiatrist for my journey. I'm looking forward to working with her more in depth and I would highly recommend Dr. Norman!
