Listens and Acts Upon Concerns
When I went in for a Wellness appointment, I took a list of concerns. She took a deep breath and said ok and I realized she also had a lot of questions for me. We accomplished all questions in this appointment. Then, to my surprise, she also gave me an authorization for various tests which led to me seeing 2 other specialists. My health issues were taken very seriously by her & her staff, and it was amazing how fast I was able to have the tests taken and specialists seen. Months faster than when I had initially attempted to set up the appointments myself. I truly appreciate her fast action to my health issues in a most professional, friendly, and experienced practice.

Will never again make an appointment with her. I was not at all happy after my first visit. Doesn't have any care a doctor needs. Walked in like a careless graduate chewing gum and had big attitude. Dint comment anything on my health. Whereas my husbands physician was so nice. I took appointment with her since my husbands doc was a male and I wanted a yearly physical done. She never did any checkup. Just told me I am due for a vaccine.

First time visit with her, she did not address any of my concerns. She was snarky when I declined a colonoscopy and vaccines (none of which are indicated for me). Did not seem to care about of my medical issues. When she "listened" to my lungs, I don't think her stethoscope even touched me. I WILL NOT return to see her. Staff, on the other hand was great.

I didn't feel like doctor took an adequate history and then her office called with my test results 3 months later stating I needed to exercise more and reduce my fat intake and wanted me to come in for a consultation because they thought my cholesterol numbers were off. I exercise 10 times a week and I reviewed my labs and my cholesterol numbers were in the normal range, In fact my Good Cholesterol numbers were so high they just assumed that the lab had reversed the numbers which wasn't true.

I switched my PCP to Dr. Manahan recently and am so happy with my choice. She really took the time to listen and made me feel really comfortable. I highly recommend her!
