On 922/23 she performed an internal mullerectomy on both of my eyes. She was quick efficient and did a fabulous job after 24 hours. I can already see the difference even with the bruising and swelling. I am so pleased with the work she did I will continue to see her. She is straightforward, communicative and very well-versed with eye issues. Just love her and her work. Can’t wait to see her again.

Great Doctor who listens
Visit was on time, had a visit with a different doc who did a comprehensive, this was a second opinion after the exam she gave her honest assessment. Though may not be able to continue there Dr El-Mansoury opened the door to getting to the bottom of these ocular issues. Thank you Doctor.

Excellent
I went to her for many years when she was in Philadelphia. Great doctor! I was sorry when she relocated to another state.

Dr. El-Mansoury is a Life Saver- or at the very least, a vision saver. I am a middle aged female and have found, that the discrimination against women as patients, still persists. I was even told I had Munchhausen's. I had suspected an autoimmune disease, for some time. But, even after expressing this to doctors, they all were looking at the individual symptoms, rather than the overall cascade of afflictions. One of the many symptoms I was experiencing, was severe eye pain and pressure. It was coupled with intracranial pressure and headaches. I saw an ophthalmologist repeatedly, and got some relief from lumbar punctures. Thus, I assumed this symptom related. Dr. El-Monsoury listened, and conducted a very thorough exam. Her diagnosis was dry eye, with an underlying infection, from a lack of vitamins. This lack of vitamins in the eyes, was due to inability to absorb nutrients. The inability to nourish my eyes was due to Celiac disease! Finally a diagnosis, and an ally who got it!!

The very first thing Dr ElMansoury said to me after my surgery (upper eyelid reduction) was "Make sure you refer plenty of people to me." Then she told me she left some extra skin on my eyelids so I could get a brow lift later on, even though I had previously told her that I had no interest in any cosmetic procedures. So basically I was ripped off, but too dazed to address it at the time. Then two months after the procedure I had what seemed to be a sty in one of my eyes. I went to another eye doctor and found out it was inflamed due to an infection at the site of the surgery, and I needed prescription meds to heal it. So my experience was that this doctor is a salesperson first and a physician second. Also the office assistant who performed my pre-tests was inept and did one of them incorrectly so I had to return for a redo. I would absolutely not recommend her or her office in Philadelphia (I understand she is no longer there) and I truly regret having used her for the procedure.

Dr. El-Mansoury is one of the best eye Drs. I have ever encountered. Not only is she seasoned in her profession, she explains everything so that you understand what is going on and what needs to happen with my eyes. She knows exactly what is going on from the moment she looks at my eyes and has a plan of action swiftly in place thereafter. Besides her accurqcy and great care with my eyes. Her kindness is another reason I keep coming back to her and her staff is the same. All are so friendly. Her office is great in scheduling appointments. And for emergencies, I got right in the next day. The wait times in her office are suprisingly short and they are following all social distancing guidelines. I highly recommend seeing Dr. El-Mansoury at Center for Sight.
