Dr. Jessica Perini, MD

I was on Trisol liquid form of Synthroid because my body doesn’t absorb the pills and now I have to start taking the shot form of the medication never heard of it before but Dr Perini had ordered it and only place I can get it is the hospital pharmacy hopefully this does as good as the liquid form did for several years. Thank you for help I greatly appreciate it.

Dr. Perini is helpful and attentive. The staff is rude and uncooperative. They will prevent patients from being able to see the doctor for up to two years and they will prevent patients from receiving documents. Dr. Perini is excellent. Her staff is not. Due to her toxic staff I cannot recommend Dr. Perini.

Dr Perini’s a wonderful doctor. She listens thoroughly, discusses treatment including medication. She is patient and does not hurry through the appointment. If you have a question, she responds immediately on WVU MyChart or phone. I feel better since having her as my endocrinologist than ever before. I would recommend her to anyone. She treats my husband too and his diabetes has improved with his feeling better as well as improving.

If I could leave no stars I would. After years of seeing her, I have only recently began being treated like garbage by her and that office. She has canceled three of my appointments on me within two years with no notice or explanation. The first time I had not even noticed until I had run out of my medication. They would not refill my medication until I had seen her, which they scheduled months out. I had no choice and waited, when my appointment time came around I found out it had been cancelled again. I frantically ran around town without being helped and was now months without my daily medication. I felt as if I was on deaths door and about to go to the ER. But by some amount of luck I was helped by Urgent care who usually don't assist with that. I decided to give the office a chance and forgo Perini and choose another one of their providers after this; another long story short, please save yourself some time, health and aggravation and don't go to this place. I can't understand why

Dr Perini is the best doctor I have ever had!!! She is very knowledgeable, explains medications and diseases thoroughly, and is very kind and compassionate. I feel very lucky to have her.

Dr. Perini gave me incorrect interpretation and advice regarding my health. When I directly asked about a potential diagnosis, multiple times over she said it was not the case. After seeing a reproductive endocrinologist, he said it was absolutely and without hesitation what was going on with me. The timing for diagnosis on this problem was critical to whether or not having children could be an option for me. I am highly disappointed as this is devastating to me.

I was 20 mins late to my first appointment and expected to be told that I couldn't be seen. Dr. Perini still saw me and was refreshingly personable, caring, and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and took time to really listen. Her entire staff was hospitable and I left feeling like I was in excellent hands. I will recommend her highly to patients at the medical office I work for. Five stars - amazing doctor!

Dr. Perini is a great physician. I have been seeing her for several years now. She is always concerned, entertains all of my questions, never seems rushed, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of any concerns. I highly recommend her!
