Dr. Jessica Mowry, MD

I drive an hour to see her because I trust her so much. She’s a very attentive listener, and she knows me better than any other doctor I’ve seen over the past 10-15 years. She always makes sure to consider my entire health history when diagnosing any new symptoms. That’s hard to find. Can’t recommend her enough!

I saw Dr. Mowry for several years in KCMO until she moved to Gardner, KS. I had not had an established doctor for some time. She took a lot of time with me. She explained everything thoroughly. I hadn't had a doctor like that since I was a kid with severe asthma. She was also sensitive to my age (late 50s) and mental health diagnoses.

Dr. Mowry is a fantastic doctor. She is a nice lady as well.

Dr. Mowry and the Brookside Family Medical Group has always been friendly as well as professional. Dr. Mowry has been my doctor for about 10 years. Her concern for my health and working with me to reach my best health has kept me as her patient. I've told others about her, in case they don't have a good doctor, or need a good doctor. I'm so happy with concern for me, in spite of how many patients she may have! She is my doctor for life!

Brookside Family Medical is awesome!! Dr. Mowry and Dr. Killen are 2 of the most professional, caring, courteous, understanding, and knowledgeable physicians the HCA health group offers in KCMO!!! My husband and I are patients of these 2 and have no complaints whatsoever!

Dr. Mowry is great! She listens to your concerns and then gives you options as to what you would like to do. She is very patient and very thorough with her questions/exams. Definitely recommend her!

Dr. Mowry is thorough and doesn't say I'm doing all right when I'm not.....in other words, warnings are made clear! She is not the warmest person on the planet (doesn't smile much) but is a nice person and very competent in her work.

Dr. Mowry is a personable and professional young woman with a relaxed and friendly manner. She explains things clearly, writes any suggestions or directions down for you. Dr. Mowry has always responded quickly to any question or concern I have. I appreciate the small two-Doctor clinic, and the staff is friendly and helpful.. They do not do labs there, but use a convenient and efficient lab office in the neighborhood.

She's very sharp and thorough. Would definitely recommend her to other women as their primary care doctor. Very easy to get in for an appointment and never have had to wait.

Dr. Mowry is hands down the best doctor we've ever had. I can't say enough about the time and effort she puts into every visit. She has a wonderful manner, takes as much time as is needed to address your issues, and puts a great deal of thought and research into the best treatment options for each patient. My whole family sees her, and it's very nice to know that she makes all of our medical recommendations with the whole family in mind. I couldn't recommend her enough, she's the absolute best.

Dr. Mowry seems like a decent doctor, so my complaint isn't about her personally. 3 separate times over the year Dr. Mowry has prescribed me a medication for whatever reason. Same situation each time. I called the office after starting the medication with a few general, important questions. 3 days & NO callback! Every.Time. The best part is that her nurses voicemail says: "Do not callback multiple times, as this will only delay your callback". Funny. I won't callback, but I'll spread the word.

She really took the time to listen to me and offer solutions other than more medications. I feel like she actually cares about her patients and their well being which is a change from my last Dr!
