Dr. Miller treats me like a well liked family member. She takes time to talk with me and asked about the health of my parents. The fact that Dr. Miller isn't taking any new patients, shows that she is in high demand and that her patients adore her!

Never will go back
First of all, this review has taken me 6 years to write. My daughter who she delivered is now 6. Dr. Miller left me with so much trauma from my pregnancy and birthing experiences that it has followed along with my other 2 pregnancy's. I did not have them under hear care nor will I ever. She made me stay in the hospital for 2 week prior to my delivery due to pre-e concerns. These could have been resolved at home or given BP meds. She bullied me throughout my labor and caused me to feel dumb when I asked questions. I ended with more interventions than I ever wanted and a c-section. In the end she had an agenda that she pushed the entire delivery. There were multiple rude comments to myself, my husband and my doula. I will never again seek care from this provider. I would beware if I were you. If you have any complications she will want to induce sooner than needed. I have 2 successful VBAC's after my 1st baby. I was told by Dr. Miller that I had a weak pain tolerance.

I casually brought up an issue I'd been having with weight gain after a very stressful year, and Dr. Miller was beyond patient, helpful and interested in my concern. I was really moved by her caring.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL DOCTOR!
I wish I never had gone to Dr. Miller for my pregnancy. All she did was scare me. My very first visit she told me that I should just feel lucky that I was pregnant at the moment because there’s a good chance I would not be anymore when I came next week. As a first time mom, I left devastated. When I went in the following week, there was no indication of the problem anymore and she played it off like it was no big deal in the first place. From there on out, there was issue after issue and worry after worry that she would bring up to scare me, but nothing ever came to be true. She kept pressuring to deliver early even though I was not comfortable and I even got multiple opinions from different doctors and she was the only one who kept pressuring me to deliver as soon as I turned 34 weeks due to “potential” issues with my baby being smaller than usual— none of which ever came true. My baby came out perfectly healthy and she caused me so much stress for nothing

Went over a year ago for a preconception appointment because I was worried about the affects of anxiety and pregnancy. We barely discussed the topic I came for. Instead, she told me I’d have trouble conceiving due to my weight. No labs or exam was done to determine if I had any reason to suspect possible infertility. Bedside manner needs some attention as well as well as focusing on patient concerns.

She didn’t even perform two of the three things that are normal for a yearly wellness exam? Maybe she was in hurry? I give her two stars because the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful otherwise I would give one.

She is very by-the-book and dismissive of requests to do anything outside of her recommendations. I am natural minded and she said she was supportive of that, but constantly pushed her own recommendations (which are always whatever is generally recommended by ACOG, no matter what the patient's particular situation is). I ended up having gestational diabetes and felt pressured to use meds from the start, without anything natural to try first. She started talking about inducing very early even though all ultrasounds were perfectly normal. Suddenly at my 39wk appt she said my bp was high and immediately wanted to induce. I was hesitant to agree to it w/o further testing so she sent me for preeclampsia testing. They checked my bp again and it was normal. All my test results were within range, but some on the "high side of normal." She still pushed to induce and I gave in, but regret it to this day. I ended up with interventions that wouldn't have been necessary if the baby was ready.

As OB for annual good DR. As pregnant patient if you have blood pressure issues RUN RUN RUN fast, she sticks you in the hospital & tries to take baby early no matter what other specialist say. She makes horribly rude comments and makes you feel like it’s your fault. I left her and went to another OB at 33 weeks pregnant. Scary to move that late but I had the BEST experience with my new OB & never got put in hospital and had a healthy baby 7.9lbs & full term. I will never return to Jessica Miller’s practice after her trying to take my baby at 34 weeks & keep me in hospital just bc of blood pressure. Baby was healthy, blood work and proteins in urine good but always wanted to take him early. I’m so glad I left and was under better care & was monitored safely each week from specialist and stayed home vs. hospital. Good luck I didn’t have any with Jessica.
