Dr. Jessica Hughes, DO

I’m in the hospital and this woman is denying pain meds, anxiety meds and nausea meds. She won’t listen to me about my gastroparesis & what options I can take or not take. She has tried to inject me twice with medicines from my allergy list, if I hadn’t know better and asked I would be covered in hives throat swelling. I am septic and had deep oral work deep in the gum. And even surgeon said yea that was rough she’s gonna hurt bad but this doctor thinks for what I had done i shouldn’t be in pain. She’s also saying I’m being difficult because I’m not eating… with gp and pain, nausea anxiety it’s rough. She does not listen to her patients period. I have asked for her to be replaced.. they are trying to find one with gastroparesis education. Not a dr who looks at my chart twice & almost gave me meds off my allergy list twice. Who takes longer then 20 seconds to LISTEN to her patient especially if she asks a question that needs explanation like what does work for you?
