My husband has been seeing Dr Penico since 1997. When no other doctor could even devise a plan of action, he was able to provide diagnoses and treatments that have kept him alive and able to enjoy some life for the past 20 years. Amazingly compassionate and knowledgeable !! Without him I knowmy husband would not be here today.

Appointments with him is like watching an ADD kid playing with his new toy, your health. He makes rash decisions that he can't backup and he doesn't like other people second guessing those decisions. Will not let you seek another second opinion (in infectious disease), if he thinks it will be bad for him. All appointments take 2 weeks to make. No matter the circumstances. I have friends who work with his patients, they say only 50% get a real diagnosis. The staff is great though!

Actually listens to you and explains things thoroughly. Doesn't give you the bum's rush like some doctors. I'm thankful to have him as my doctor.
