I received my first Cortizone injection in my hip. I was a little nervous but Doctor B. was quick, painless and got right to the point. No pun intended! :) It was a little pinch, that was it. Way less than you would even feel from a Novacaine needle. I went in with pain level 7 and left dancing my way to the parking lot. Thanks Dr. B! ~Anna

He understood my situation. We did an X-ray to show the placement of my electrodes. We’ll wait and see if the problem resolves, if not we have a plan.

My recent visit to Monterey Spine & Joint for pain management with Dr. Bernstein left me extremely dissatisfied. From the outset, Dr. Bernstein exhibited a notable lack of empathy and professionalism. His demeanor was rushed and disinterested, giving me the impression that my concerns were merely inconveniences to his schedule. Rather than taking the time to comprehensively understand my medical history and current symptoms, he hastily jumped to conclusions without delving into nuances of my condition. The appointment felt more like a checkbox exercise than a genuine attempt to address my pain management needs. I left the office feeling unheard, unsupported, and frustrated by the lack of personal care. Dr. Bernstein's dismissive attitude only deepened my sense of alienation and left me without any meaningful resolution to my health issues. I cannot in good conscience recommend Dr. Jesse Bernstein to anyone seeking compassionate and competent pain management care.

He listened to my story and pending schedule will get me help sooner than later
